Ethanol causing problems with small engines like lawn mowers

This is why the small engine shop I work at has so much equipment in for repairs. It does not matter if your machine is brand new or old if you leave gas in the fuel tank and carburetor the fuel system will become damaged. This is our government hard at work making for a "greener future". Our tax dollars fund this crap and in the end all ethanol does is cost you hundreds and even thousands in repairs. The marine industry and motorcycle industry has the same problems with ethanol fuel.
