  • Great separation of the paper. I have read that sticker backing paper works really well. A couple points for improvement:

    1. Cut the board to size *before* you etch it. Allows you to use the rest of the board for other projects and reduces the consumption of etching solution.

    2. Use acetone to remove the toner. Much simpler and no abrading of copper traces.

  • how long does the etching takes?

  • Geez photo paper sucks whatever the brand. Use a sticker backing paper instead, no need to put in fridge or soak in water after ironing, Transfers quickly too and the best part is it's much cheaper

  • RED ALERT!!!

  • @First2ner RED ALERT 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • orions glossy paper? does that work...

  • @belkasage

    I use ASUS product catalog

  • it doesnt work for my pcb layout... Ive pressed for like 1 hour and still no result... the toner doesnt stick... ill try another photo paper...

  • Just bought a kit to get started which came with crap instuctions, this video helped...thanks for sharing

  • I used iron on my copper clad board. It created noice and then I noticed that copper attached to the board came out.

what wrong happened. what is thickness of copper layer of your board?

  • what kinde on paper is that

  • the song is from red alert 2

whenever I try to transfer the toner to the PCB, not all of it sticks on properly

  • press harde and use a diferent phoz pape such as basic photo gloss.

  • and / or use a black alcohol-based marker as a mask for correction and large areas...works well

  • nice vid. good share

  • good instructional vid. I have to ask though...what on earth is that song? fucking weird...like it though!

  • Hi. Nice vid. I use nail polish remover to remove the toner and then rub the board with sand paper to remove oxidation. Anyway i think maybe that its ok what you are doing too because you are removing toner and oxidation at the same time :)
