The first time I heard of this song was 1994. I love its melody and even I didn't know the meaning of its song. All I remember is the title "Anata" means "You". I dedicate this song to my former friend "Hirooka".

Thank you very much! I was a teenager when the composer won the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo in 1974 and the lyrics were translated into my country language. Now I live in the USA but still love this song. This is the first time that I have found out that Akiko Kosaka composed and originally sang the song; thanks to You Tube!!!
