No, this did not start in the housing market.

It started with bad derivatives that then allowed 100 to 125% loans over the original market values. The Derivatives then allowed higher payments on homes which then feed back into more derivatives ect... and so went the feeding of the beast.

There is still Trillions of worthless derivatives out there and as soon as the debt ceiling on the US Government Bailout funded interest payments exceed funding, we will have our over due Depression.
