Great job! Great tone, great playing...Wut exactly kinda guitar is that? I dont think ive seen something like it. BTW, idk if u take constructive criticism, but if u want thicker, heavier tone, heavier strings would work wonders. I use 11's and there's a nice difference. Like i sed, idk if u take that kinda criticism, and idk if u would even want to make that kinda change, but i just thot i'd let u no wut i think.
Thanks. Actually I use Dean Markley Mediums 11-52 and have for years exactly for the reason you stated, more tone. My guitar is a Fender Bullet Deluxe (discontinued). I'm not sure what years they were made but mine was made in the 80's. I like the way it plays but it originally came with crappy pickups so I changed them.
A friend was gutting an Ibanez and gave me his pickups. I was going to buy Fender pickups but tried these instead and loved them. My bridge pickup is actually a double-coil that I can split into a single by pressing the tone knob. My rig is a Fender Twin amp, a Vox Tonelab SE and my trusty Ibanez Tubescreamer TS9 which is what your hearing here.
