One improvement would be to adjust the aspect ratio so the display looks flat (perpendicular to the road) and not angled on the windshield. The other would be to adjust (or make it adjustable as a user setting) so that it is calibrated to align to the center line and shoulder lines on the road, so it would give the most realistic display as it would match what the user would see.
