Remember the Red Flag where the F-15 won against the Su-30MKI(if this isn't the plane, please correct me) and kicked it out of the sky every time?

The F-15C doesn't have TV(thrust vectoring) while the Su-30MKI/35/37's do have..., and yet the F-15 proved to be better in a dogfight do to a perfect design which allows it to maintain high energy upon the fight, having a tremendous turn capability within it's corner plateau, while the SU was only relying on TV and lost every time...!:D

f15 is nothing...if we compare to sukhoi mk 33.... su mk 33 is a deadly aircraft..it will burn away the f15....

su 33 more agile and very frindly use for the pilot...i wonder if someone recording their dog fight one to one

The F-15 at the :19 sec. mark of this video is the 58th Fighter Squadron Commander's aircraft. The 58th,59th, & 60th Fighter Squadrons were assigned to Eglin AFB , FL as part of the 33rd Fighter Wing. I was an F-15 crew chief assigned to the 59th FS from '92-'95. In '94 we were deployed to Saudi Arabia for Operation Southern Watch and took the 58th FS aircraft to the Gulf. During the 4 months deployed there I had the honor of being the Asst. Dedicated Crew Chief for this particular aircraft.

Nice video man. F15 probably the best fighter of its generation...And I bet if you say "Draw a fighter jet" to almost anybody, they'll draw something at least resembling an F15

The best Fighter jet ever made. In a head on collision in training it lost a whole wing and landed safely without a scratch!

the F22 raptor will take over main roles but the USAF will still keep the eagles in survace

coulple resons why the F22 is the main fighter:stealt-harly diteckable on more advanced Air-2-air missles and Surface-2-air missles

less pilots are lost with the dominates but the eagle will be there for decades to come

Nah not really dude, they're mainly gonna build f-35s to replace the 15's. There isn't going to be enough raptors to take over every role, but they arn't going to phase out the 15s for a while anyways

I have a young friend that flys an F16. The US Military admits to an air speed of 1600 mph...I'm a Nam vet NTDS with secret clearance and I'll tell you straight that they always low ball the speeds that they'll admit to. I have actually witnessed SR71J missions in which a turbo-jet drone was dropped...it took an air speed of 1800 mph to start the turbo so you can imagine how fast the SR was...they were super secret then, now they have them on display at base gates LOL. Guess I'm getting old.
