Okay lets try to explain you again Liam. The UK SVA has absolutely no meaning in Germany. Its not EU wide regulation its only a UK regulation. I talked to Alexander Tauer

from the German Radical Distributor and he told me that they do work and the Street legalisation, but this takes time, till summer or early autum. At the moment absolutely no Chance. Thats what he told me as Manager of Radical Germany. The UK SVA is not a binding regulation for Germany! Trust me I do work in Carbusiness!

SVA legislation is the same throughout the EU. If you can register one in the UK you can register one anywhere in the EU. The only difference would be the left/right hand drive. Left hand drive is an option on the SR8 anyway though so no problems there.

Both this car and the SR8LM that beat the time this car set are legal anywhere in the EU. Not only are they legal in Germany, they were driven on raods there.

Because you can order one, turn up at the factory, and then drive it home, to work, on holiday etc.

Just cos it doesn't look like a normal saloon car or because it is hopelessly impractical for the shopping run, doesn't change the fact it's a road legal production car.

You could buy it and then go for a drive to the south of France, down to Rome then over to Germany for a rip on the autobahns and if you had balls of titanuim, on to the Nürburgring see how you'd compare to Michael's time.

Well the TVR Speed 12 was a road car but Peter Wheeler said it was too powerful for the general public, but a client of TVR bought the parts and assembled it with the help of TVR technicians, which makes it the only one available, this is a shame as the order books were full for them! Im sure if that was allowed to put a lap down (and was in production) then well I think we would be looking at a real contender for proper road legal supercar on the Nurburgring..?? RIP TVR =( et VIVE RADICAL! ; )
