@Justdabomb2 You said that there should be a shadow on the stationary ball, not that there should be a reflection of a shadow. If you were talking about the reflection of a shadow, then you would be correct. Otherwise the light is facing the wrong direction to cast a shadow on the stationary ball.
I don't understand your comment. It's just a picture + added morphing mesh with reflecting chrome texture. Also the ball on the table has been rendered but it has the texture of the ball on the picture.
Only thing missing is the shadow of the flying object in the stationary ball, otherwise; Fuck yeah!

@ImTheBatchMan Since when do shadows not have reflections? Think about what you just said...

Software? HDR? Lies!
This is clearly advanced alien technology.

wow, you know how to use HDRI. congratulations :s

Wow you know how to use random terms that are totally unrelated to what he's actually doing in the video.
This is compositing. HDRI is high-dynamic-range imaging.
He might not even be using HDR in here.

Well actually the video is rendered in 2001 or 2002. I just happened to find it on my hard drive and uploaded it here years later.
