you can go to 100 db for music player i think if you go over it just defaults so ive heard i set mine to 99db just to be sure

i would still like to know whats the maximum db for the radio

I tried doing the same thing... Im getting the following problem.

I get into the MP vol. setting.

Then i press 6, when it says [SPK][MP vol.], READ

Then opens the [SPK][MP vol.], WRITE

I open the editor screen, enter 99

But after pressing done, I am just not able to press the OK button like you did in the O:55 minute part of the video... the screen gets stuck like in 0:55. And now the volume is set to 0 and i just cant change it.

Your post helped me a lot.. BUT.. i messed it up. there was an option.. AP AMP config (4) and i went in for ear config.. u changed figures to see any change and i found out.. my left earplug isn't working any longer :( only for music player obviously.. I rewrite same figures.. no use 

Example.. after entering MP option.. thr is [2] LSGain : 0x1d

I write 0x1 again but unable to write d .. please help.. no way to revert back factory settings? :P I know u also messed it once :D thank you

How much dB can you input?? cause, I tried with 102 and it seems like it takes it but when I play the music it sounds just the same as it already had when came out of the box, and when I tried with 100 then it does sound so much diferent and louder...

i tried this on my samsung jet s8000 which just arrived today - think its the same model as you showed above?? nyyhows, it seems to have done the trick, except the difference between vol 14 and 13 is quite difference in volume. Is this normal? Thanks though.

this is normal , coz we are cjanging only the last value that is 14th level. the 13th level is set by the phone itself, we cant change that

Hey guys, I tried doing this however didnt really notice much volume increase. I did notice my battery doesnt last long anymore. this morning it was full charged and only lasted till lunchtime. Anyone else have this problem?
