Plus it looks absolutely different from outside the ring. I think the best comment I heard about Floyd speed was by Nazim Richardson. He said Floyds attribute in his timing is absolutely amazing. He said that when someone has amazing timing it makes them appear even faster.

Yes, he's a great boxer. I'd say he has the widest range of defensive tools and is probably the best defensive fighter of all time, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. TOE TO TOE, Mayweather would get knocked out by at least a few people, Pacquiao included. He needs his footwork to be the great fighter that he is.

@tenfoldsoffspring his later years weren't all bad. his fights with hatton, cotto, marquez, and margarito. legitimate fights. i say margarito, not based on how he fought before that fight, i say it based on how he fought IN the fight. clottey could have been a legitimate fight. but that was clottey's fault. not pac's. clottey has a good record and was a great fighter, but he had a worry of getting knocked out. that's his mentality to cover up then attack, but pac was always attacking.

@brandeezy108 I will say this...Hatton normally brawls head first and swarms u before u can adjust and land consistantly...Floyd wasnt passionate about Boxing in those days and thats why he retired but Hatton landed allot on Floyd...in fact if Floyd didnt KO him Hatton would have won on Points...Floyd Sr turned Hatton into a boxer and he tried to box Pacman...Pac was far too fast for that so I think him losing, had an affect on his style and made him less affective...cant learn to box overnight!

@tenfoldsoffspring his later years weren't all bad. his fights with hatton, cotto, marquez, and margarito. legitimate fights. i say margarito, not based on how he fought before that fight, i say it based on how he fought IN the fight. clottey could have been a legitimate fight. but that was clottey's fault. not pac's. clottey has a good record and was a great fighter, but he had a worry of getting knocked out. that's his mentality to cover up then attack, but pac was always attacking.
