I personally appreciate the hard work of these people. I go to Roan Mountain when I can and I just wanted to say "Thank You" to all the folks and organizations that contribute to the upkeep of this beautiful area.

This looks so awesome! I want this experience so bad! I hope I can join for the Winter 09 term. I was put on an alternate list. So I dont know what the odds are of me actually getting in, anyone know? Did this division really close? That irrates me the lack of funds from the Government. You all truly took part in helping to better America, guess the Government dont care to see those who are willing to make this a better place.

The year and a half I spent in Americorps was one of the most rewarding and fulfilling times of my life. It's programs like this that are the future of America. The second the Government realizes this fact, is the second America will have a future.
