  • Thanks a lot for this great vid. The 58 biscayne in 7:45 is in Ortaca(Dalyan) / Muğla / Turkiye.

You can google it "Mahmut çiriş ortaca klasik"

  • @allthingschrysler

    very thank you ;-)

  • Good to see images of so many wonderful sculptures - I mean cars.. But they don't all end up in the sad state shown at the end: there is hope! My '58 Caddy Coupe de Ville is still going strong and is regularly making routine journeys - this is no showcar trailer queen! Have a look at my video and see what I mean. :o)

  • Very Sad Ending

  • great!!!!! ..whats the model at 1:03??

  • @CristiXsb:

    It´s a 1957 Mercury.

  • Mecury Turnpike 1958

  • @CristiXsb , Ähhh sorry, 1957 Turnpike Cruiser Sedan

  • OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH I NEEDED THAT !!!!!! THANX

  • @salssalvage

    no problem. ;-) Thanks !

  • Thanks a lot! Wonderful slideshow. Maybe you know names of artist who singing there songs?

  • Well done! Everytime I hear that Driving Miss Daisey closing vamp my hair stands on end.

  • @fillmore593

I feel that also. I love the Soundtrck of Miss Daisy. ;-)

  • Glad to see you included the '61 Imperial,Which had the largest Fins of ALL cars ever produced. Great Film.

  • ahhh the 50s and 60s ; the BEST TIME for music AND CARS---if you notice, the cars and music changed simutainously ---historians in the future would notice this--the grills especially changed every year, the music would do the SAME---ESPECIALLY on the '0' and '5' of the decades--now many songs today sound VERY 80s except more VULGAR--Lady GAga Ke$ha Katy "prodigal' Perry sound like a vulgar Madonna--since this is a car vid, notice how boring the 80s were with cars?! (the end of this vid is sad)

  • I think i heard this song in mafia 2

  • back when cars looked great, but only cus loads of ppl thought in the furture we'd be driving hoovering cars or these cars would be able to fly and they'd be ready for the furture

  • people shouldnt be allowed to have cars if they are going to do that to them. especially those beauties. over here people would be climbing over eachother even to get one of the rusted out ones

  • This is a FANTASTIC video! Very well put together.

I almost felt like crying at the sight of those rusted wrecked cars. The '58 Chevy at 7:44 still looked good, but I'm sure time has taken it's toll on it.

It's like you can hear those cars say:

HEY! REMEMBER HOW I LOOKED LIKE WHEN I WAS BRAND NEW IN THE SHOWROOM ? YOU HAD TO HAVE ME. I WAS SHINY, BRIGHT AND FAST. HEADS TURNED AND PEOPLE SMILED AND SIGHED. I'D SO MUCH LIKE TO BE LIKE THAT AGAIN, BUT I CAN'T.

    R.I.P.!

  • these cars are cant remember the last time they had a decent meal, dear edsel is showing bones ,and mrs bealair hasnt had a home in years, ......for as little as 25 dollars amonth you can help these cars deal edsel can have some body filler till she gets a rottisery and mrs belair can have a loving home where she could go to school ...just 25 dollars its a little sacrifice for life.thnx....man i really wish they did have a help the classic car campain.

  • This video is an absolute Masterpeice! These are the cars of my youth, thanks for a real time travel escape. Caprice

  • The heyday of American design, works of art that should still exist in today's cars, but no one cares to appreciate their value. A beautiful video: from the cradle to the grave. Sad that it's all gone. Today's cars disgusting comparatively speaking.

  • ritka szar zene

  • I think the ending of the video is perfect, although sad. The video is set up so you fall in love with the cars, then have your heart strings pulled in the hopes that more people will do something about this wonderful piece of American history. Get out there and do something! Try and stop this beauty from rusting away to nothing or being crushed and forgotten

  • take me to the 1950's

  • I LOVE THE CARS AND THE SONGS!!!!:D

  • please send me the at the hop thing you used i cannot find it anywhere only the other version pops up i love the version you used! its better!

  • If America ever got anything right with cars this is it. Such a dismal shame they don't make cars like this anymore.

  • Better than any sports car, supercar or hypercar on the road today, American, Japanese, European or otherwise.....

  • fins are awesome!

  • Great video!Old forgotten Cars-Rest in Peace:(!

  • i love old 50's commercials and posters! they actualy had artists draw pictures of there cars and to me that says im not going to half ass it!

btw whats your favorite 50's car sadly only one please i know its hard!

mine is the 57 fury the "true" fury not christine as peaple seam to forget shes a 58 belvedere!

  • Very well done

  • That was the era of all that well dressed people that travelled with style with those beautiful cars. The end of the video in my opinion must have been different: A final scene watching two young boys of today puttin one of this beautiful machines on the road again, it could have been better.

  • What`s the first car ?

  • @johnzejtun1993 - BUICK- ROADMASTER Two-Door RIVIERA, Model 76R.

  • Dear Chevrolet,

I miss you. As much as a Chevy man that I am, you're different. Much different from 1941, or 1955, or even 1969. You're not the same. You look like those forigen Japanaese imported Toyotas. Do you remember your low, long, sleek, sharp, winged '59? Or how about that good old '55? Remember when it was a race between Chevys, Mopars, and Fords? What happened to us?

Please come back Chevy, because you're not the same Chevy as you were 50 years ago.

    Nothing lasts forever I guess.

  • @dylan962300 i know right??

  • I just love the beautiful cars and the great music!! Too bad that America don't make cars like these anymore :(

  • whats the 2nd song

  • This music does not really reflect the car buyers tastes of the 50's. Should be backed by Basie, Sinatra or Nat King Cole the recording giants of the 50's. This music reflects the likes of teenieboppers. Wonder if the buyer of 57 Caddy would groove at the hop?

  • After 6:20, I simply cry. :'-(

Would give everything just for been born at that time and being 60-65 years old today, I don't care if my life would be now over because I simply LIVED AT THAT GREAT TIME !

  • Nice. Especially act III

Now I know I am old....

  • Really amazing collection of ads for a great period in car design. Nothing like it and the best time for it. And what a sad demise for these beauties. THey musci reflects that. Well done good vid.

But some of these mighty icons have been restored. I only wish I could be amongst the people that could afford to do that. Well one day I will. I have so many favourites. Thanks for posting.

  • great video ,well done too.

  • Nice vid, but it actually began in 1948, Cadillac was the first car that intoduced the first vin.

  • This is right!

But at the end of the 50s the fins were the highest.

  • excellent vid, once gone, gone forever :(

  • Awesome music and cars

  • this is were it started.and we need to preserve!

  • please we need to save these cars.....there not just vehicles they are a part of history and would have so many stories to tell us.....

  • these cars beat any cars today

  • GOOD JOB ! Fantastic cars and music : )

  • The most depressing thought is that many of those deteriorating cars will never be restored. They will either be left there to rot, or the land owners will have them hauled to the crusher to be destroyed.

  • Very discouraging.

    :-(

  • Yes it is. As the generation that grew up with them, these relics will die with them. Most of the younger generation of today find them ugly heaps. I think they are unique, and these cars were from 6 to 9 years old when I was born (1966).

  • @garywayne1966

well think of the case of the try five chevys they had production over 200,000 cars for 3 years! thats almost a million cars!

production was very high back in the day

but yes your right it makes me cry!

  • great video

  • so many good cars came out of that era

  • i had a 1959 mercury to lol rarest cars in the world

  • American cars are and always will be the best!!!!

  • i love the part when u move from the happy side to the sad side

I really like the old Cadillac models, but where you'll find a clean one? :(

  • Yep, now see, thats back when cars were Detroit quality steel and music was wholesome American talent. Now they all want imported Jap plastic junk, and new music is just plain shit!

  • Yes this is right. Many new cars must be proved. And new music often needs getting used to.

  • Great music and cars! what a decade! my favorite is the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado and the '57 Chevy Bel Air.

  • Great videos, please save the fin cars from the salvage yards.

  • (^―^) ♪ GOOD!

  • so sad at the end. I love these cars of my youth.

  • Very well done.
