They're not planning on updating Terraria anymore? That's sooo lame. What happend to Cthulhu, the towns, the flooding, the space world, the underwater city? This game is sooo boring without updates.
As dissapointed as I am that there will be no more updates except for a possible bug fix patch or two, I can't complain. These guys went above and beyond with free content and delivering a quality product. I am really grateful. I encourage anyone reading this to consider sending them a line with a thank you.

How much did you pay for Terraria? I know ofr a fact taht 60$ games that last from 8 to12 hours can be counted in the hunreads. And you probably got 35 hours off Terraria.

And as for how long it took me to get all the gear and whatnot, I had a bit of help with some of the gear, like the gear you get from killing the Wall of Flesh. I never got the Hallowed Gear, since I got bored before I could get it. As for how long I've actually played the game, I've played it for 131 hours, total. Anyway, I decided to try out a few mods. So I have a reason to play, again.

Minecraft is a hell of a lot smaller in terms of action gameplay, Terraria is a hell of a lot smaller in terms of building and crafting. (Unless you count crafting weapons etc)

Minecraft has "inspired" more from terraria(Corruption=Mushroom, Reforging=Enchanting, All terraria bosses=some gay enderdragon, chaos elemental=enderman) than terraria from minecraft, funny isnt it???
@Snix121 Uhh...Endermen and enchanting table were introduced on Beta 1.8 & beta 1.9 which was September & October 2011...Terraria introduced Reforging and Chaos Elemental on December 2011.
Why do people compare this to Mario + Minecraft? The platforming aspect feels nothing like Mario, and just because you can mine, craft, and build doesn't make it Minecraft either. :|

I just want one thing back from old Terraria.Lesser health potin to give 100 health Health potins to give 200 health and yeah the greater healing potion to give 400 health+no potion sickness.
I saw some MC vs Terraria comments and I have a few things to say about it.
1: Terraria is like minecraft and might have been made by people who used to work for Mojang.
2: Markus/Notch said himself that terraria is like minecraft in many ways and is a great game (or at least close to it)
3:WHAT THE FUCK EVEN STARTED THIS WAR BETWEEN GAMES MINECRAFT IS 3D AND HAS LESS CONTENT AND IS BIGGER TERRARIA IS SMALLER AND HAS MORE CONTENT AND IS 2D! JUST GET ALONG!

Hey, in case someone find this interesting I've had an awesome idea for terraria's new updates while I was in the bathroom (best place for thinking) : You guys surely must have an idea of your hole world (even if you have not killed WoF yet) , than I imagined: What if they added Chtlhu (sorry if misspelled) as a super new boss equivalent to WoF but 3x tougher and to summon him you would need a key that would free him from his chains and he would follow you through your world... I saw some MC vs Terraria comments and I have a few things to say about it.
1: Terraria is like minecraft and might have been made by people who used to work for Mojang.
2: Markus/Notch said himself that terraria is like minecraft in many ways and is a great game (or at least close to it)
3:WHAT THE FUCK EVEN STARTED THIS WAR BETWEEN GAMES MINECRAFT IS 3D AND HAS LESS CONTENT AND IS BIGGER TERRARIA IS SMALLER AND HAS MORE CONTENT AND IS 2D! JUST GET ALONG!

EPILOGUE: It's about myself not the update. My first language it's not english, then sorry if something went wrong. I really hope that someone reads it and at least make an idea out of it. I didn't make this to get the credits but if I get any of it I would be much thankfull!
And as a final argue for all the people who troll terraria and say that minecraft is better GET OVER IT!! Terraria was much worse than Minecraft at the start, but with Terraria 1.1 and Notch being such lazy...Well, THE END.

If you had Neptune's Shell, if not the door would say: No man may pass! Only Merfolks are allowed to such place!! Just to sound as arrogant as a golden door would be. Hey, in case someone find this interesting I've had an awesome idea for terraria's new updates while I was in the bathroom (best place for thinking) : You guys surely must have an idea of your hole world (even if you have not killed WoF yet) , than I imagined: What if they added Chtlhu (sorry if misspelled) as a super new boss equivalent to WoF but 3x tougher and to summon him you would need a key that would free him from his chains and he would follow you through your world...
