  • @CheatCheaters also do speed excercises

  • @CheatCheaters Don't need much more speed than that if you're a 14 year old 300 pound kid.I beleive you're that big too.I was 6'2 and about 255 at 14 :) for your size and age you have decent speed...It's not about speed on the line.Focus on quickness and getting off the ball.PS.Footwork is a MUST

  • @89Ryanhoward thats pretty bad if your a senior there are juniors at my school benching 300 and squating 400+

  • @JamaicanBoy41 i really don't matter how much you lift, because it really doesn't tranlate on the field. As long as you are a good football player that's all it matters

  • @89Ryanhoward I know a freshmen who squats 450....

  • Dude im pumpedd for next season im gonna be a junior and the varsity coach said i had a good chance of being a starter on defense and im training hard

  • I'm looking forward to my freshman season.Right now I'm 6ft 225 pounds.I played d-line.(Considering last year was my first year playing)I did pretty good. But this year(if I can)I'm going to try out at linebacker.I'm not that agile, but I can run fairly fast. But I'm one of the biggest guys so I don't know if I should switch or not.

  • @DCSam68 well it all depends what you play on the line.. if you play defensive end, you might have a chance...

linebackers have to be the most athletic kids on the team pal... i started off as a linebacker, but then they put me on d tackle :/

  • i always have trouble when a guy is holding me the legal way in front off my chest. im shorter than probably you guys 5 6 & 175 pounds as a freshman in HS. but i can create havoc on da back feild. im elusive & fast enough if i only have the tackle in front of me to sack the qb. but my coaches appearently know me enough to know how to tell somebody how to stop me. can anybody tell me or give me advice of how i can get off the hold without losing my speed & balance?

  • @TheKrumpGod

being that short you should be below him....club the forearm muscle with your hand...it hurts and if you do it enough times he'll try something else...you gotta beat'em with speed.

  • yeah i played Nose Guard.

  • im in 8th grade and i play football for my school with 8th and 9th graders. i start at DT. im only 5'11 and 130lbs and the guys i go up against 95% of the time are 6ft or above. ive been starting the whole season and its taken me a lil bit to get used on how to get past these big guys. anything anybody can tell me that will help me out on my next game? itll be our last and i wanna have tons of tackles and a sack.

  • Its really simple, i have the same problem, I'm 6' 2" and 225 pounds, but i play in Mississippi, so every week im going up against O-tackles that are 6' 4" and at least 300 pounds every week, one thing i had to learn was to use my size and quickness as an advantage, once the ball is snapped, grab their jersey at the shoulders, and yank them, after they figure out how to stop that, use your quickness, give them a jab step and a head fake to one side, then use a swim over their other shoulder.

  • if you have any other questions, feel free to ask me, just send me a message

  • yea your similer to my high schools Dt he is 5,8 180 lbs(freshmen team) but he is just so small and quick no1 can block him usally in high school depending on where u play the slow o-linemen are in the middle and if your fast play d-end i am starting d-end for my freshmen team and i use my quickness if i were u though id switch to d- end in high school your coaches wont start u at d tackle at that size u will most likely be on B team but if you either add weight or play real well u can do it

  • thanks i really appreciate you for giving me advice i do play a fair amount of d end like mostly in the 2nd half of games its just that our starting d end is 6'4 and he is about as quick as me so he is pretty much obviously our d end

  • well size does matter and so does strength but in the end whoever gets past blocks faster is the one that prob should start or whoever has the most agression will start my coach wouldnt play me at d-end because i would get to aggressive sometimes

  • uhmmm fire off fast? stay low its easy to over power somewhen biger then yo believe it or not you just gotta react off there movement im a soph nd i play varisty and a lot of guys are bigger then me but when playing nose guard rush the centers snapping him and put as muc has pressure o nthat hand as possible so he doesnt have much time to move his hands and block you and as for any other D line position stay low and line up as close to the line of scrimamg eas possible with out going offsides GL

  • hey...im starting DT for my school, im 15 and im six foot and wiegh 220, ive been playing for 7 years...i was wondering if my measurables might keep me back in terms of being scouted?

  • get some speed and move to linebacker....

  • fail. freeze at 0:29

that lineman would fuk u up so bad

attack with ur hardsurfaces, helmet is always first option when ur head up, then shoulder pads when ur between gaps

credit card alignment (so close to the ball you can only fit a credit card beween there) those O linemen come up slow so pop n push works all the time unless ur on the edge, then u gotta throw in some extra rips

  • im training to become defensive line on my football team, im 12 and im joining in 8th grade

good thing is i can leg press 405 for abour 35 reps, so i can run really fast

And because of that im a human plow

  • doesnt matter how much you lift. if you have terrible form, a guy smaller than you can drive you back. i know this because im 5'8 and ive had to practice against 6'3 + defensive lineman that are stronger than me, but i can still block them good enough

  • @GaoGao56 Approved!

im 6'3...a 5'2 guy pushed me 10 yard away!!

  • @GaoGao56 it does matter how much you lift, if you have good form than you can dominate at the line.

  • @GaoGao56 Low Man Wins!

  • don't forget to also make sure your calf muscles are strong as well as working move not just bull rushing

  • im 14 and i am a freshmen in high school and i am a 6ft 2in boy that is about 200+ pounds and kinda of fast in short distances...what type of linemen should i play?!

  • prolly a good size linebacker. i can't really say since you havent told me how much can you lift.

  • i lift like a little over 100(not that strong but can push a sled a half a mile)

  • offensive line

  • offensive tackle

  • just go to a football practice and be like what should i play must likely end if strong as well

  • How fast are you off the ball? If you're fast of the ball I suggest Nose tackle. If you aren't then outside tackle

  • u need d-end lol?

  • I'm 16 and im working out :P

  • im 13 and i want to become stronger and a better lineman. i know i should allow my body to fully develop though. am i old enough to lift 4 days a week? if not what i can do to become stronger?

  • Have you ever lifted before?

  • look at my vids fuck heads

anthony441, do ur bench at the end of ur work out and eventualy it will get better

try doing more weight and going really slow with a spotter

and i bench 250 like 50 times retard and i can leg press 1200

  • sooooo much little kids posting false stats to look cool on the interwebz? good job guys lol

    1000 000 yard dash: 2 seconds

    position: the hole team

    team: my team

  • there's no way you bench 420 pounds you fag

  • bench 420

    squat 525

    dead 375

    ....

i take it those are ounces?

  • well since everybody doing dis,

    14

    200 pounds

    5'8

    bench 225

    squat 325

    clean 135

40 6.0 with full pads on(havent tested recently without)

    o-line/d-line

this is all truth freshman JV both ways, varsity i get a rotation between me and about 5 other people for nose guard

  • jenbigq, u fail

    im

    14

    5 11

    210

    bench 250

    squat 600

    clean 210

    legpress 880

    im d line, o line

  • You don't squat 600, I know this for a fact.

  • too bad i do loser

  • Yeah, if you go down two fucking inches. I'm talking about a REAL, PARALLEL squat. Loser.

  • yaa i do. retard

so that my back is str8 and my knees are bent at a 90 degree angle

ive worked out since i was 10

  • he's a lier

  • Mark henry the world record holder in the raw squat (960lbs) couldnt squat that much at 14.. And he deadlifted 880lbs in high school... You're just an internet tough guy

  • i am going to be 15 in 4 days i play for a division 3 high school i am 6 foot 2 i am 230 pounds i bench 300 i squat 550 i clean about 340 and i legpress about 800 and i am not lying unlike some pussy ass like you and i also start both ways on offense i start at left tackle and on deffense i start at nosegaurd so go fuckyourself little lying pussy ass bitch oh yah i start on varsity and im a freshmen so yah suck and just to put this out there i am persian bitch

  • If you were really squatting 600, your leg press would likely be over 880. In addition, being able to clean 210 and only bench 250 is pathetic, especially at 210 pounds. So you're either a liar or have a very paltry upper body.

  • dude, how? im 13 in a couple days, and i can bench in 3 sets of 8 about 85 lbs. and iv been workin out for like 2 months why am i not getting stronger?

  • i suggest you only use your body weight fo training, because once your in highschool thats when you grow you wont grow if you weight train when your younger because your body is still developing. just do 5 sets of 10 push ups a night
