I personally believe Shadow/Clyde knew who Baram really was. "So why do they call him, Kefka? He was a great thief once, got caught by the authorities and they tortured him. He lost his mind after giving in and it only became worse after he had a change of wardrobe."
i have played this game over 50 times and i personally like it better than the other final fantasy games due to the structure of the characters and story plot. Locke and Shadow were my top two characters throughout the game.but i think the general leo shouldn't have died.
You guys!! What about Xion's ending in KH: 358/2 Days?? I'll only say "ending" and not what really happens so as not to spoil it, but if you know it, it's really sad!!
If only they could have developed Shadow's character so that he found a reason to live and be happy once again by the end of the game. THAT would have made for some real excitement!
@Asluc96 lol i wasnt saying it like "zozo, duhhh who wouldnt remember that idiot??" i was saying zozo? like "zozo? is that the place you are talking about?"
@NakedSnakeFOX not at all. Aerith's death has been played up waaaaay too much. I love Final Fantasy 7, but it annoys me when people ignore this game entirely in favor of that game. Yeah, Sephiroth killed your girl, killed a lot of random out people. How about Kefka? He killed the entire Kingdom of Doma, rearranged the entire surface of the world for his own gain, and murder countless people in pursuit of becoming a god.
@76andOn Yes, but as the player, we didn't really get a chance to connect with those characters who Kefka killed. On the other hand, Aerith was with us for a good part of the game. So that adds a lot to the impact. Someone who was with us for so long, and who added so much to the story, and fought alongside us, suddenly dies.

It's Final Fantasy. He'll fall a million miles, land on a desolate island, and survive
with a few scratches. Christ, they ALL fell out of a broken Airship! Nice scene though.
Would've been better if the dog had been wearing a sombrero.

Personally, I would have went with Rachel being ressurected just to die again as the saddest scene in FF6.

@Tzimisce00 (removed because of spoiler)'s suicide at the end of mother 3 was WAY sadder than FF6

And he never reappears on the airship.
Even despite Gogo falling in a pit he still survived... :(
RIP Shadow, aka Clyde Arrowny.

@hardysforever
Not in my opinion. I liked Shadow. A lot. When I saw this happen, I felt like I was going to puke. In anger and sadness. Mostly the latter.
He still never told Relm, another party member, that he's her dad.
