Hannan is far too clever to join the UK Libertarian Party or to join UKIP. Those parties will never get anywhere, so he's taking the sensible idea of trying to change a political powerhouse, like the Conservative Party, from within.
He may laugh, but he's too clever for his own good. A fine orator and well balanced mind makes him a true conservative, but, without the cesspit of the EU Parliament he would not have a platform, only there will he survive.
And so upon its destruction, his own will follow, for he will have fulfilled his job.
There is no place for Hannan in British Politics, unfortunate as it is.
Hannan thinks that the next Tory Government is going to hold a referendum on the "total re-negotiation of the U.K.'s relationship with Europe". How can he be a "class act" if he holds such a patently irrational (and politically naive) belief?
Speaking King James English properly does not insulate Hannan from making ridiculous pronouncements about future Tory policy on Europe.
@erutuon I would have thought that this is English "humour" (if you can affix such a descriptions to Farage's dry little joke). So it's English humour about the EU. Nut "EU" humour. The Europeans have a far more sophisticated notion of what constitutes "humour" than the dry Mr. Hannan.
He should join UKIP, where he would be welcomed with open arms. Then they could all run together in the 2010 General election and finish fourth overall with less than 5% of the vote.
Well done Na ... You cant say this too often. These people are the pits - they never try to defend what they believe in they just try to influence things from behind the scernes

Mark Reckless; an excellent and principled MP. Though he did get a little squiffy during the budget.

Hannan knows how to use King James English properly, unlike most modern Anglophones.

Strange you never hear any Clarkites talk about the EU. Especially seeing as they make up a major majority of the Tory EU party.
