Just Cod 4's multiplayer. Crysis has a great campaign. COD4 has a great campaign too, but it's a corridor shooter.

In COD you have no choice but to take very linear paths. In Crysis you can go literally anywhere, the maps are so large and open.

It's much better. Most who say "CoD4 is better", usually don't even have a computer capable of running this game to it's fullest. Either that, or don't understand the concept of switching nanosuit modes. Oh and for anyone who wants to say it's too 'unrealistic', CoD4 tactics are far from realistic. You want a realistic game, play ArmA2 and follow the chain of command. Crysis was meant to be the way it is. Nanosuit wearing soldiers would be pretty much this way.

secondly the AI is tough. someone had wrote before that the enemies don't take cover which is extremely not true. All u need to do is to fire one shot and they take cover. after u had killed an enemy even with silencer the restt of them will be on high alert. What is good about the amour is the cloaking abilities. i had managed to bypass quite a number of enemies w/o engaging them (including alien). But those aliens and the nano suit korean are extremely irritating.

well the full version is a bit different in game play mechanics, i remember having the demo and trying to play the full game later on, it felt... different, in any case it gets worse later on, eg you don't get any SCAR ammo so you play with the ak and all the rest guns suck, if you apply the 1.2 patch the bullets you fire cause more damage so it takes one hit less to kill enemies, ohh and something else the game is not as opened ended is it seems in the beginning and there are some tough enemies

yes it depend on the difficulty u are playing. i had completed the game ytd and it gave me lots of headache when playing. First of all the 3D effect is good especially when u are inside the alien spaceship. it is nuts. u get 0 gravity and floating around and u could do a 360 degree spin. it sure give u a giddy spell especially when u have a large screen like mine.

COD4 is multi player appealing because there's a hierarchy. Higher level, better bonuses (Weapons, Clothing, Perks [Advantages] ) so you always have a target. Same goes for games like Warcraft. The more you play, the better advantages you have.

but I get the feeling that if I were to have played Call of Duty 4 I would say that Crysis has more of a proper gunfight, because of the freedom you have. there's more tactics and strategies you can use against the A.I, while in COD4 since it's scripted more heavily there really isn't much of that.

In crysis the enemies take plenty of shots while your heavily armored character takes only one hit to make the blue armor bar dissapear, also the weapons are really inaccurate while enemies can hit you from miles away, plus the enemies move like they play unreal tournament instead of taking cover like a realistic game, plus the explosives are useless against nanosuit enemies, so explosions dont kill people? No realism in crysis, and the ai is fucked up so many bugs, not human at all

well the guns are a bit weak I'll give you credit for that. but I still find them fun to use. it doesn't take one hit for the shield to go down, and you have to protect Maximum Armor in order for Maximum Armor to protect you. cloak only runs out really fast if you running around, if you go crouch it will last longer. the enemy A.I doesn't seem to be acting like in UT, in fact they act much smarter. they take cover and they stay behind cover when under fire. the A.I is very smart.

As for the armor, in the beginning of this video the player takes a hit and more than half of the blue bar dissapears, but luckily he got hit by a pistol, try checking coastal carnage video instead from 0:34.

ofcourse, the ai is not stupid, its broken, oops its the same thing, many times you'll see machine gunners that stand like that and not fire or the driver of a vehicle in the assault level to ignore you and keep moving( very poor scripted event, and if you shoot the driver the rest troops inside the vehicle the rest will wait inside the vehicle like nothing happened) Or should i speak about the fact that i shot an unsuspected enemy with my sniper rilfe and next thing i know his buddy shot me!!!

I really don't know what the hell you're playing but none of that has ever happened to me. if I were to be near a Jeep that has a gun manned, the gunner would shoot me. if I were to shoot the gas tank from behind, they would exit the vehicle. and I never had the driver ignore once at all.

I'd say both games are in a tie. Firstly, in COD4 the player doesn't have the advantages that the nanosuit gives you, the game takes place in real locations, and the maps are alot smaller than in Crysis - which implicitly leads to close-quarters gunfights and always keeps the players on the edge, peeking around every corner and so on. On the other hand, Crysis has huge maps and usable vehicles, and a destructible environment, which gives the player freedom to take any approach he wants.

ONE HIT? I've finished the game on Delta at least 3 times, and the only weapon I know that drained the shileds was the sniper. The shield can take around 2-3 hits from rifle & handgun fire and about 5 hits from a SMG. Everyone has their style of play, and Crysis heavily relies on a tactical approach. Did you find it possible to hide in a bush in S.T.A.L.K.E.R? I for one didn't. Bloody bandits were sitting behind a bush, shooting thru it at me from 50 yards and hitting me while I was sprinting.

The vegetation cover worked in FC1 and in FC2, although it worked only when it felt like it. Anyways I don't know your approach in Crysis, but from waht you're telling me, you sound like you're riding in guns blazing. I personally like to plan ahead and try to move in such ways as to make easy kill of the AI (lots of speedmode, cloak and silencer use needed). With alot of time, patience and hard work I've managed to finish the whole korean levels without a single alarm or enemy shot.

Crysis requires 512 mb of vid card memory to run smooth :P and consoles NEVER let games lag on them. They usually reduce graphics to play certain games (like the orangebox on 360), crysis wouldnt be the same without graphics :P
