Can you tell me where did you get those sleeves (black & blue) for the mobo and the video card? I really want something like that, but don't know where to look. Thanks!
Never thought of this config for a dual loop system. One question, how are you finding your temperatures with this config as opposed to the standard 240 at the bottom config? Better? Worse? Or roughly the same. The reason I ask is I'm planning a dual loop for Kepler SLI, and would prefer to avoid cutting into my case so this would be ideal, if the performance is good. Great vid. Glad to hear EVGA accepted your RMA :)
OP, please give us an estimate cost of your entire build. Very interested in know how much all this would cost because if u do it, may as well do it right.
hi can u help i have 2 cables 1 called pci-e and 1 called sli-ready with both on 6 pins which 1 goes to which slot on the graphic card? on the graphic card there is 2 slots for cabled with 6 pins
Just wondering if the pump should go to the radiator first then to the CPU as the pump creates it's own heat. Also with 2 rads on top, don't you feel that the fans are taking the hot air from the bottom rad and blowing in through the top rad? With that setup I would think that you should add fans to the top of the upper rad to help exhaust the hot air. Presently the top rad isn't doing much good without any cool air....just my thoughts.
@WestCoastMods I worried about the rad situation, but the air being drafted out is fairly cool & my temps on my CPU (the top rad) are the same as they were before. I have plenty of cool air being pulled into the case. I am all about low Delta's & do know this isn't the best setup for achieving the best temps, but the overall idea of the redesign was to ditch the external rad. I think I have out grown this case for what I want to do & have been looking the DD double wide 21 case...
For some reason one of my gtx 580's runs 5-6c hotter then the other, Of course EVGA thinks it's because they are in sli, but I switched them, and also tested them individually, Still for some reason that one card runs a bit hotter then the other, even when testing them separately, I'm not sure if they will approve my R.M.A. for that, I should probably just redo it with my own thermal paste.
@Neomis01 Thatc an be normal. Every card has the potential to run 7-9c cooler/hotter. Have you tried replacing the thermal grease on the card? Might be easier to go that route.
@Neomis01 No I haven't had any experience with it myself, but i was looking at one of you're video's when you took off the heat sink, it looked pretty straight foreword So I might try it, I'm guessing I only need to replace the past with one bead in the center of the processor? and leave the tape? I have always had better temps using bead methods for doing my cpu's.

Are you using a coolant or distilled water with additives?
I also want UV water cooling. What should I use?
