The true interest the Senator has in climate control is the limiting regulations and elimination of fossil fuel that foreseen in the future.

The high prices of gasoline in the US are not because of the price of oil per barrel, its the refining of it and they are controlling the demand through this process. Back in the 1980's the big oil companies started shutting down several refineries.

One of them being here in Ponca City, Oklahoma that distributed all over the USA if, they wanted to bring the piece of gasoline down they could but these bastards are plain greedy.

Now they have priced themselves out of the market and the environment is failing now, they are scrambling to justify the use of fossil fuel.
