0mg can someone tell me why , i have just had my 14th spur gear shredded to bits on my tmaxx 2.5 but i dont see why , i take my car out on a big field with short grass and it drives for last like few houres then my car just stops i check it and my spur gear is chewn to bits and i did the paper thing between engine and spur gear omg! help!

lossen the nut infront of the gear to make it put less strain on the gear(might not axelerate as fast..)

sounds like the nut does need loosened on the bell prolly and make sure they mesh well also could be out of align a tad from changing stuff just play with different things like the nut on the gear a lil loosen to where you dont have much aceleration and run it a lap then tighten half turn until its right mark where u have it set now with a dab of paint or a sharpie so u dont get it that tight again and remember how many turns u back it off also any other questions im glad to help SEND ME A PM OK

@rangerz2k5 are you useing the right spur gear? might be differnt spaceing between between the spur and clutch bell. get a metal spur gear also loose up ur slipper clutch a little

No point in comparing a 1/10th 2wd truck to two 1/8 4x4 MTs really. It'll beat them for top speed and track racing, but they'll be way better on the really rough stuff. ;-)
