great, great song and beautiful voice. singing in D and E is HARD. it's similar to the Beatles "We can work it out" or the Bangles "Eternal Flame" in terms of song structure--re: the middle 8 measures with "and as he laid down his life..." for instance.

The key change up to E is amazing...that challenges a vocalist and a pianist. You start at low E, then go G#m7, A, B and up to high E. Majestic crescendo and then it quiets down at the end like it started.
