i've been a long time fan of you and your paintings. i feel like this painting is exceptional. the influence of your trip is very apparent in this painting. i recommend more trips, big or small to influence your work. you are clearly a great observer and should gather even more inspiration from your experiences however big or small. keep up the good work and keep feeding your internal inspiration. it is serving you well!

But be sure, the weather wasn't perfect at all =P Very strong currents, very strong winds, rain, 15-16 degrees if not colder. Still, I had an amazing time and would do it again in a heartbeat ^_^

Hi Val hope you feel better soon! Get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water and hot tea. That always helps!

I missed 2.5 days of work this past week from being sick. I don't know if it was a mild case of the flu or a sinus infection. Saw doc Friday, ran 101º fever, so I got some antibiotics (took a probiotic with it though!) and feel much better today and will be back at work tomorrow.

The painting looks great, and 100% booger-free! :o) I'm sorry you're still sick :( For me the key to enjoying those not-exactly-perfect moments is to remember that life rarely affords perfection and whenever I look for perfection I'm going to find every little fault. So I try to focus on the best part of it and call that a win.

This is a wonderful painting.

Also good painting of yourself too :-)) Use some Aloe Vera or Nivea Cream on your nose where it is irritated (it burns first) before sleep. In addition, possibly get a smoother special napkin. Hope you get well soon; Have a nice next week.

Try taking some Vitamin D3. Up to 2000 iu. As the it gets cold, people tend to stay inside more and your natural Vitamin D from sunlight goes down. D3 is said to improve your immunity against the flu and colds. I love this painting! :)
