I hope you take the time to think about my points. I have learned a lot from you and I trust your judgment on so many things. I just think, in this case, you are drawing an unfounded conclusion for all the reasons I just listed (and more).

Let's discuss the extent of damage long term. Even if we are not sure, is it worth taking the risk and harming the planet forever? There should be a carbon take because CO2 is a greenhouse gas that acts as a blanket and contributes to climate change and warming the planet.

@freethinkerfreelover Let us consider co2, it is heavier than air ie the gas can be poured from a beaker. The co2 released from stacks will therefore hug ground level where the carbon cycle takes place. I would dispute that co2 can dwell in the upper atmosphere long enough to have any effect at all on the climate. the Sun is the major driver of the climate and past warming was caused by the Sun. As our Sun is now entering a grand minimum, we can expect Global cooling to dominate.

Finally, I want to make the point that the CO2 is doing something, just like H20, cloud cover and volcanic emission are doing something. The CO2 will remain in the atmosphere long after the effects of cloud seeding, volcanic eruptions and more and will contribute something, even if you think it is miniscule. That should be the focus of the discussion. It is there and it matters and we know that from Earth's history and scientific modeling and common sense.

My next point on the front of fraudulent claims is that there is corruption at the top of all fields in all walks of life (at some level--and the scientist claimed to exaggerate, not lie--if this is true at all). Who is more corrupt, the scientists or the oil companies? We all know the oil companies have a huge financial interest in making the C02 global warming claims look fraudulent. According to thisr view then, neither side can be trusted; so, your point does not add support to your claims.

Even if what you are saying about the scientists is true, that does not make the claims wrong for all the reasons I said below and more. I really wish you would look at the science and study the cycles of elements, etc., in the ecosystem. Thanks for sharing your videos daily. I love them and I watch them all the time. @NibiruMagick2012 Okay, I have a few big points (this is going to be long, but I feel it is needed at this point). Your argument is based on a few contradictions in argument and logical fallacies.

First, the entire solar system is heating up. If that is the case, then why is the Earth not heating up as the global warming scientists claim (how is climate change then a fraud)? One point I have mentioned already is that warming can be masked by volcanic eruptions, cloud seeding and more.

That takes care of why the Earth is not warming, but the rest of the solar system is (if this point is correct--there is conflicting evidence). Importantly, the main point here is that your claim that the entire solar system is warming, in conjunction with the claim that the warming is a fraud, highlights a contradiction in arguments on your side of the debate.

Second, even if the solar system is warming, there are multiple factors that contribute to global warming/climate change, such as the sun, other external to Earth factors, volcanic eruptions, cloud seeding and more. Demonstrating that one factor plays a role in climate change, does NOT demonstrate that other factors do not play a role in climate change. They all can play a very important role, some of which may be more dangerous long term than others (but, that is beside the point).

Third, there is a logical fallacy regarding any fraudulent claims. To start, just because a few scientists are bad (this may or may not be true), does not mean that everything they have done is wrong or the whole theory is wrong. We already know that the evidence can be weakened by opposing forces, such as volcanic eruptions and cloud seeding and we know that we are experiencing more extreme weather.

Okay, I just said that global increases in temperature can be masked by volcanic eruptions and cloud seeding, to name a few. That is not debatable. We know that. Global warming is also about extremes in weather. That is part of what it encompasses. Everyone knows that is happening. Just because a few scientists say the evidence now is not as strong as they  like, does not make them wrong. The evidence can be masked (and there is evidence) and there is evidence of extreme weather. You are wrong.

I saw a few stories that mentioned genetic mutations possible amoung naturally occurring oil-eating bacteria in the ocean. Sounds like another example of human interfering with our natural state of things. What are the consequences for this environmentally?

My thoughts and conclusions on BP - Prior knowledge of

so called accident based on insurance and insider trades, oil could have been sucked up and sold - at profit or cleaned up efficiently with straw or hair, but no, toxic industrial dispersant waste used - conclusion oil is not really scarce - artificial scarcity - How would a gold or platinum spill be handled?
