I definitely want a batarian squadmate for ME3. Preferably someone who isn't an asshole. Maybe someone who can help Shepard patch the relations between humans and batarians so they can help to get rid of the Reapers.

The Batarians are so gonna join the Reapers in ME3...and i mean for obvious reasons....the collectors are gone...so the Reapers need a species to be their agents...and the Batarians are selfish and hated enough to take that role...while the Geth will be the new citadel controllers want it or not XD...oh well i hate Batarians so i hope they join the reapers so i can kill em all

@ALBERTWESKERZERO That's what I do. I'm playing both ME1&2 again in preparation for ME3. I'm thinking if I leave all the bad guys possible alive, there's more chance of extra content in ME3. Of course, I kill them if not killing them means some good guys die as I think there's a chance living good guys will aid me in some way later. I don't think you meet Balak on ME2 but I've read a LOT of ME1 decisions will come back to bite you in ME3. I feel like ME2 was just a 'filler' storywise anyhow.

I'm trying to juggle my ex Kaidan, who suddenly gets hot in ME3 (so does Ashley... check out the wiki!!!), my second love Liara (in time for the Shadow Broker) and my heart of hearts Garrus.... I should have had my Shep stick to the mission. She's got waaaay too much on her plate. BTW Tali FTW!!! If I was a male Shep I'd pick her too.

@ALBERTWESKERZERO I hope he doesn't become bisexual. I think what they should do is make it more like real life. Have some characters that are ONLY heterosexual. Some that are bisexual. Some that are tri-sexual (they'll try anything including aliens of both genders, or all 3 if that could be the case haha) and some that are ONLY homosexual. I'd also like to see some who refuse to screw aliens. Back on earth bestiality is a crime. I'll continue in a new message so look below...

@ShayLee0501 A species is 'creatures who may produce FERTILE offspring'. So while you can mate a horse with a donkey to make a mule, a mule is not a species as they are always sterile & cannot produce baby mules. A mule is not a species, it is crossbred, literally half one species & half another. On earth a human has no business screwing a dog as they are different species. Screwing a dog is bestiality & wrong. It's wierd that ME treats bestiality as normal. Surely some characters would say no!

@ALBERTWESKERZERO Yeah but your sister & brother can talk & achieve amazing things too. You don't have sex with them because it's just wrong. It's also just wrong to sleep with other species. It's just... not.... right! Dolphins can talk using words & phrases just like us. If we had a suit translator like on the game, we could chat with a Dolphin just like we do with the game aliens. Dolphins can't build without fingers & they have no need but they could be as smart as us. I wouldn't screw one.

It looks like Wrex is in the game to at least some extent because there's a level where you rescue a female Krogan & she says "Don't worry, Wrex will be here. Wrex can't keep his hands off a fertile Krogan female". I hope he becomes a squaddie again! Do you know who from the second game will be back?

@ALBERTWESKERZERO OMG YES! Garrus is confirmed as a full squadmate? Who else is for sure? I mean we can't have all of the ME1 and ME2 cast or it would be crazy many and we'd have to build an even bigger Normandy! I'm glad to have finished with Garrus as my new LI because he's one of very few who've been a full squadmate (stood by me before other goals) in all 3 games. I'm kind of sad I might not be able to still have Liara on the side. She got awesome in Lair of the Shadow Broker.

This is both awesome and brutal. On my Renegade character I left Balek to die slowly because her I chose the backstory where her parents were killed by Batarians so I had Shepard hate the Batarians.

My character's parents were killed by Batarians, too. I haven't played this part yet, but I don't know what I would do. Would it be more gratifying to destroy him yourself or leave him?

I think whatever you do, save the hostages or leave him to live, will have repercussions in ME2. Maybe he'll show up an even bigger threat if you let him escape or maybe the hostages will help you out in some way and makes things easier if you decide to save them. Personally I think killing him is one of the better ends to any quests on Mass Effect, it's great.

i think in ME2 the reapers are using agents again to start wars amongst the organics to weaken them up, the batarians attacking humanity would start that cause humans being on the council would unleash the citadel fleet cant wait for it i am on tender hooks lol

Personally I tortured him, then left him for the alliance. In my opinion, it causes the most suffering, because now he has to spend the rest of his days in a jail cell where it hurts just to breathe.

Torturing and then leaving him to die would cause more suffering. I tortured him for information and then killed him. A nice homage to my character's actions on torfan.

I wish someone would upload a video of this. I always play as a Paragon (save the hostages), and while I would like to try the Renegade route and leave Balak to die, I don't want to have to fight all those damn batarians in the facility again.
