The Impersonal Life is written as if the 'Higher Self' is reaching out to the 'lower self' of the ego while in actual fact the opposite may be taking place, i.e. the ego reaching out to the higher self and thereby defiling it.

Yes, I did know that. I was in a Unity Church book store and they had this book under the title, "Elvis's Favorite Book" or something to that effect. That is when I heard about it. I also read Joseph Brenner's book "The Way Out" which is very good. It's in my playlist.
It is like God is throwing the ball in your court. Your it and now we take the ball and run with it. We are the saviors we have been waiting for. Just make the claim for we have the permission granted.

Thank you for that information. I don't know a lot about the Rosicrusian order but I have always felt that
they were a very good organization of people and a very old order as well from the little I have heard about them.
