My 8690 doesn't do that, sure you can hear it, but it shouldn't be that loud unless you got it next to the afterburners behind the thing

From experience I know that loud fans are a sign of DAMAGED laptops. If that's from a 'new' laptop then it got damaged during shipping, or it's just a refurbished one and honestly only those desperate for a bargain get those (knowingly)

i have a np8690 and it doesn't sound that bad, but the noise is noticable.

Thats not right, I own an NP8690 and its fans are actually very quiet during gaming

I have just bought a GWAR (CLEVO W860CU) and the two fan noise at maximun load is almost imperceptible. Your noise is due to the friction of the fan with the disipator or a wire.

either the fans are defective or the covers are over tighten.

Definitely not normal, I have a 8690 as well and you can barely hear it. Even without the buzzing noise the system is still louder then it should be.

This is the worst laptop fan noise I´ve ever heard. That things is as loud as my xbox360 and that thing is surely crap regarding the fan noise.

Well I think the fans are defective. I'm sending the machine back for a refund (less shipping charges).
