Escort- Ships can only be used to make at first heavy damage and then egage to fly off the Fire Range from the Enemy. This Ship is at 60% with the Hull. My Cruiser wouldt only lose the shields before the Cube collapses

If this was the TV series, a couple hits would cause a major failure, the Borg cube would barely be damaged, and the might could take more than 15 minutes if the ship actually stood a chance.

As a Trekkie, I have one question.

How in the world does any single Federation vessel seriously challenge a Borg Cube? O_o Aren't they one of the most terrifying things imaginable? Like.. Ever?

@Brovo200 The federation has taken large leaps in technological advancement. so now they have more powerful weapons to help combat the borg with. Also, Cannons do a lot of damage compared to standard beam arrays or beam banks. And this Promethius has cannons equipped. I have a Sovereign class that i can only use beam arrays and banks (and of course torpedos and mines) and i can't take down a cube as quickly as a Promethius could. But i can do it alone in under 5 minutes.

@Brovo200 also, Borg cubes are relatively easy to take down in STO compared to a Borg Tactical Cube. To take a Tactical cube down you need all the help you can get, and its garunteed that not everyone is going to survive the fight. When i see a tactical cube i run and scream like a little girl unless i have atleast two other people there to help me out.

WAIT WAIT WAIT! First, that's a Prometheus class, Y U NO USE MULTI-VECTOR ABILITY?! Second, how the hell does a borg cube go down THAT easily?!?!

(Probably haven't unlocked the ability, and...those weapons are powered by awesomnium, am I right?)

@RogueMason13 I can answer all those questions.

1. The Multi-Vector mode is on the VA-level ship, and he's only a Rear Admiral 5. Also, look at the date of the video, it could be there was no Multi-Vector at the time.

2. Borg cubes and such are hard as hell in STFs, I know all too well. But he was doing an exploration mission in the B'tran cluster, so any enemies there, even the Borg, are scaled to his level.

whenever i take on a cube i have one of those "oh Shit" moments when all of my shields are down. im only a commander so when that happens i run and hide lol.
