i have a 15 montauk and the highest hp it can have is 60, and i know that the montauk 17 can only have a 90, so being only 16 feet, the most this boat could have is maybe 75
The Whaler is a 16 Foot Dauntless which has a max HP rating of 115 unlike the Montauk which is 90hp. The Dauntless is wider therefore can handle higher HP.

MAX HP on mu Montauk which is the original design is 100hp but recommended is 90hp. I got a Honda 90hp 4stroke
