My fondest memory of my late step-father was my mom and he dancing, completely randomly, to the album version of this song during our low-key Xmas celebration in their unfinished home in 2002. It's the best lasting memory of my life. RIP JCM. Someday I'll get married and dance the slow acoustic version of this with my mom.

i dont think this is as good as the recording, i like to think of the recording as a happy song that can pick me up when im feeling down, and this is just too slow for that purpose. i think the pace of the song on the album is perfect.

I can understand that, but what I love about real musicians is that they can improvise. When I was younger, it would throw me off if an artist changed the words in the live version. I appreciate that now, because it's more expressive and sincere to the artists expression. That's music, man.
