Wear some safety pads man. Nobody likes to see a fellow longboarder get hurt. I just recently fell and tore up my Knees, Hips, Elbows, Hands, Stomach, and Shoulders. Not fun when you have to get two bottles of hydrogen peroxide poured over you. You could see the bone on my elbows. Now i wear a helmet and pads everywhere i go.

if I were you, I'd look at Loaded boards (yes, that's the brand name). but do some research and figure out what kind of riding you want to be doing. if you want a board for dancing, the loaded dancer would be your board, carving, sliding, and downhill, i'd say a dervish (for sure) or vanguard (if you don't want to slide), or just general commuting, in which case the loaded pintail or ceviche would be great. but yeah. message me if you want a little more insight to getting into longboarding.
