  • ok so I bought this from vat19.com, and a couple things i have to say it, it NEEDS to be oiled because it screws on very rusty and squeaky, and the lighter portion does not just easily slide out like in this video... it might just be mine but it has a little bump on it that makes it tight in the casing so you really have to yank it out. and also the flint wheel is also kind of rusty and hard to strike but other than that its a pretty handy lighter!

  • could i fit it inside a bullet?

  • Is gas is fed continuously?????? O_O

  • @XaTTaB92 it is not gas... its fluid that is soaked up by the cotton onside the lighter.. it doesnt evaporate because it is sealed inside

  • I tried the total burning time, I get a short 5 minutes after full refill, and found that the exterior did get to hot to hold in the end...

  • flat bottom would have been a better design to offer more utility.

  • i would say hahah! its not as good as a zippo at all cuz is not windproof!...but zippos arnt wind proof either lol

  • the county comm version has a flat bottom for using as a candle or mini burner (paracord)

  • great, probably the o-ring helps as well. ordered one.... thanks for your video :)

  • the only thing is im worried that it may unscrew itself - that's what happened when i had a similar keyring - i kept loosing the bottom part and had to buy a new one. even though i always screwd the cap on tightly. any comments on that?

  • @relfexreaction I have carried mine for many months now on a daily basis. I have not had a single incident of the lid comomin loose at all.

  • @relfexreaction that o ring will prevent unscrewing...if u tighten it enoug the o ring keeps some presure on the thread to keep it in place....hope u know what im takin about

  • @doctor42o yeah that makes sense. actually i bought one and they are good enough.

  • Thanks for the review. I was concerned that the fuel would evaporate as quickly as Zippo.

  • this is cool. I usually carry a magnesium fire starter but this looks lighter and better.

  • Like it!

  • Very good! Thanks for the info!

  • Nice but why order international, you can get peanut lighters from County Comm. A great website here in the USA.

  • @BACKWOODSBLISS Because everyone has done a video on the peanut lighters from County Comm. We try to find different and odd stuff to do videos on if we can. We also have international viewers who may not have access to, or want to pay shipping from County Comm. No offense to County Comm, but they are not the only outdoor gear provider.

  • @2brothersadventures Good point. Keep up the good work!

  • @2brothersadventures Thats true, i wanted a peanut lighter but they dont sell overseas, thanks for putting this up, i'll get one of these.

  • @2brothersadventures the firestash simply looks so much cooler than the peanut or the pea or whatever :D

  • @2brothersadventures i,m portuguese and i dont have acess to the peanut lighter from county comm, this is a nice option for me...thanks man

  • cool peanut lighter , I've been wanting to get one there nice survival fire starters cause there so small.

  • That's cool and all, but plastic Bic type lighters are hard to beat. They even have miniature ones.

  • @FreeTalkLive True. They are cheaper and readily available. But sometimes it is nice to have a cool peace of gear that is different. Pulling a Bic out of your pocket at an event will not start any conversations. Using a Bic is like driving a run of the mill Chevy, it works great but everyone has one.

  • +++++

  • nice gadget could be very useful.....
