The camera (a specialized camera) is built into the computer. There was a brief calibration step where spots appeared on the screen, and I looked at them, but after it was calibrated I didn't have to stay at one distance from the screen. I basically just looked at whatever target I wanted, if I glanced rapidly from target to target the laser didn't fire, but essentially, as soon as I "locked on", zap.
One more question. Where is the camera or device that monitors your focal point and did they vendor give you any estimates on price for a working "kit" (hardware and software). If there's a web page by the vendor that answers these questions, just post a link. Thanks.
Can you explain how the user interface worked? What did you have to do with your eyes to effect movement, and what did you have to do to "fire" the ship's laser?
Now will it work without turning your head?
