  • Lift your left arm up, having it down and relaxed i found fucked my whole intire left wrist/hand/fingers up... Trying too play this kind of stuff.

  • Dude that is an awesome cover, but that effect is disgusting

  • TAB ME

  • @RAASUW go to ultimate-guitar and search death blooms, if you need guitar pro 5 message me mate

  • that was played perfect mate

  • im using line 6 spider 3 amp and you

  • According to my tab it is Drop B sharp

  • Dude that sounds beast....Was this done by ear cause i have the Tabs and they dont match your Fingers and Shit....But really It sounded fucking amazing

  • Ibanez ftw!

  • whats the tunning?

  • Well done. I try to downpick most of it so it sounds heavier, but that's just me.

  • Nicely done man... difficulty isn't all that bad, but the way your guitar sounds... beautiful just like theirs... yeah i think the tuning is the hardest part... once you have that down it's not so bad...

good job though man you play good!

  • Well, i guess my drop C is going down to B again haha

    Nice cover!

  • damn....not too bad at all bro. best cover of death blooms ive heard so far. Keep it up

  • can you give us the tab man

  • sick men ;) good job!

  • Most people hide behind the music but unlike them you don't good shit keep it up!

  • wicked

  • sounds great

try just down picking for a little more articulation

  • Hell Yeah!!!.

    5*s.

  • I don't know why but my guitar in drop B sounds like shit, what is the tunning for each string?

  • B F# B E G# C#

  • Hmm, thats what I did but I don't know it just sounds sloppy on my guitar. I can play the song just fine I have no idea why it sounds so bad.

  • use heavier string gauge, I use 0.13-0.56 strings...

  • Okay thanks for the advice

  • @TheYoSong maybe its your pickups arent set right for that tuning same thing happened to me

  • @jkemash Nah I've played with them before, and it still sounds bad. It's my strings for sure. Their no where near thick enough.

  • @TheYoSong hey man, I don't think it is your strings bro. I use DR tight fits on my schecter and I use that guitar for my Know forever mudvayne cover and it came out great. Nice cover by the way bro. I was going to do a cover of this song but the damn cd skips on that song :(

  • @JJsiN84 Hmm, interesting. I've never heard of DR tight fits, what are they like? Do they help control a guitar from getting out of tune at all? Cause my guitar gets out of tune if I play it for a couple hours straight.

  • @TheYoSong The funny thing is greg himself from mudvaye uses DRs. I don't know exactly what gage but what I do know about them is they last a good long time. They also keep that nice bright new string sound longer than most I have used. To answer you question though; No, strings do not really have a big role in general keeping your guitar in tune. What u want in short is good tuning pegs. grovers are very good, and good pick-ups. I use S Duncans for my gibson and EMGs on my schecter.

  • @TheYoSong It easy. Use heavy strings + set your guitar neck for that tunning. I recommend Down-Tunning DR strings.

  • @TheYoSong ya its problay cuz u have small strings, if u drop tune c or lower which is C B and A u should at least us 11 size strings id use ghs or d'addario or anything with a heavy end which means ur buttom string 5th and 6th the biggest are even thicker. they will stay tighter and sound and feel better...

  • Well mine are 10's. But I plan on getting thicker strings for my next guitar, the guitar I have now is made for such low tunnings in my opinion.

  • @TheYoSong you need at least 11s

  • you rock dude!!!!

  • what other popular bands play in this tuning? i have a floating bridge so dropping is a real hastle. i wanna justify me dropping my guitar this low and keeping it there.

  • most of Slipknot's and some of A Perfect Circle's song are, etc :)

  • awesome job man, im learning this song and the intro is what kinda gets me, tricky but great song, and a good cover

  • hey, AWESOME cover man. skills!! one of the best covers for this song i have ever seen. another that is good is justBkaws cover, and it and yours are the best i've seen on youtube. you should check his out. keep doin what you do!

  • Whoa! go on,dude!

  • Dude, your pretty kickass. Great song too. Nothing like an L.D. 50 Song

  • good job.I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!

  • good job man, but IMHO on 2nd minute more PMs are needed

  • drop C?

  • drop B

  • thnkz dude..

  • but they play drop c live great cover by the way!

  • it's a floyd rose, how the hell did you get it to drop B without the fucking whammy being raised back :O

  • no the guitar has an edge tremolo not floyd rose and the guitar track has been recorded on my strat, took the Ibanez to make it look more metal for the video ;)

  • your mostly baring notes but its an easier way to play it

  • pretty fukn awesome dudee

  • great dude 5*

  • im not gonna lie that was pretty sick, put some pants on =P

  • thats awsome man \m/ W_W_W \m/

  • nicely done dude \m/

  • good job

it's a tough song with tempo changes and odd time signatures

  • the little spot of blue in the lower left hand corner caught my eye are you in your underwear? haha it's a perfect cover

  • haha, no I had my sport shorts on here :)

  • perfect

  • your'e good!!!!

  • move you robot, put some emotion into it

  • Greg moves like a robot...

  • Greg makes it look cool though haha. He's just gettin old, older concerts he was pretty mobile.

  • Again... all with the hate mail, but whatever

  • still can't do it... your so cool and amazing!

  • amazing!!! 5/5

  • You rock!!!

  • nice work..

    what guitar r u using ?

  • thanks Ibanez RGR320EX.....

  • Is that an sl1 soloist you are playing?

  • B F# B E G# C# that's the standard Mudvayne tuning for this song and for 'Dig' The low E string on the guitar is tuned to high B

  • actualy they now use drop c even for dig when they play live because most of their songs are in drop c

  • most there early stuff is. (LD 50,kill,i oughta, the begining of all things to end, ect)

  • whats the tuning?? anyone??

  • i think its drrop c

  • Comment removed

  • drop b i think

  • pls am an amateur...do u hav to alternate pick all the time?? pls pls sm1 answer

  • no not all the time, some parts during the intro as you can see and some stuff in the end....

  • There's no trick to playing the song or other Mudvayne riffs.

Keep in mind Greg mudvayne's guitarist is also a Teacher to. I bet way he writes is so younger players could follow it.

Even Mick from Slipknot is also a teacher, very simple stuff just takes patient alot of practice

  • eargasm.

Anyway, I'm learning the bass to this song, and it can be hella tricky with the B string cuz its so big.

  • u can play it with a four string so u dont have to use the b-string u just have to drop it to c

  • DUDE!!!!!!! I've heard some really terrible covers of this song and I opened this one thinking I was about to see another and was blown away with your talent. You get like 50,000 Stars from me. Now as a Mudvayne fanatic I have to criticize one thing. I think your distortion could be a little more Heavier. I use a Metal zone pedal.

  • oh thanks bro.....

  • i commented a long fuckin time ago i found my guitar and amp and picks and i had to buy a fuckin tuner i just dont how the fuck im gonna learn how to play metal what the fuck should i do? and yea i have expierence with a guitar

  • how did you get that nice crunchy distortion sound ? but very good cover (4 out of 5)

  • im not the one who posted a "cover" of this tune, so if ur gonna cover a tune play it the way it's actually played, just watch guug play it, i know u know its wrong:)

  • I don´t think so dude, I´ve used the official tab, just listen to the song......so which frets do you mean btw, tell me ;)

  • like most people that cover this tune your harmonics are wrong, only the bass plays nh on the 7th frett, rather than that this song is pretty straight forward:)

  • then show me your cover with the right harmonics ;)

  • omg mate that's fuckin epic! O,O

lol i hope you cover Happy?, Not Falling and Dig someday!

  • u rock!

  • very nice cover good made!

  • great job man, did u figured this one urself out or used tabs?

I'd like to cover this one too ;)

  • Very nice, well done on the alternate picking and good sound

  • ibanez =)

  • I'll try 2 learn how to play this if i can find my fuckin guitar

  • lol, nice ;)

  • WOW!!! Can u teach me that!!!? That's pretty Decent!!!! is the guitar on standard tuning? cool harmonics....

  • hell no,drop b i think

  • thanks man.....

  • I FOUND MY GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hm, I would test it at first buddy ;)

  • ill test it ill have 2 buy a tunner 4 the guitar ill learn how 2 play it eventuallly

  • dude, whats the tuning of the guitar? tried on drop D but i think its wrong... help please...

  • the songs in B

    B F# B E G# C# (low to high)

  • B standard I believe. Everything dropped 3 steps. Yeah....real fucking heavy

  • good fucking job brother keep it up

  • Absolute rape dude, that was intense! I have to work on this one a bit, I'm putting up my cover of the Patient Mental soon, also World So Cold (easy, but still fun).

  • All your covers reflect the hard work and practice you put into them .What tuning were you in by the way BEADF#B?

  • thanks bro, this song is played in B F# B E G# C# ;)

  • i cant get the harmonics in the intro right!!!

    XO

  • are you doing natural or pinch harmonics?

  • um......im not sure.i just started playing guitar a week ago,and dont know the dif.between the two.

  • natural harmonics are where you lay your finger on the strings over the little fret bars and strum. Pinch harmonics are where you pick with your thumb more towards the end of your pick and let your thumb hit the string as you strum.

  • then im playing natural

  • well then it should be right as long as your doing the harmonics on the 7th fret.

  • Natural harmonics sound so beast when you hit them right. First off, for dylan, since you're a beginner, make sure your guitar is, from the lowest to highest string, tuned to B F# B E G# C# and just lightly lay your finger over the fret bar, don't press down. It's kinda hard to hit them just right sometimes, the harmonic in Machine Head's song "Halo" pisses me off sometimes.

  • you're great, but I really dislike the song...

  • FUCK GREAT!!! =D

  • This is the better death blooms guitar cover in youtube. Nice guitar, i always love the Ibanez tone

  • great job man, that's soo grea :)

  • not a bad cover good tone of distortion just trade in the red strap and your set!

  • Man, u make it look sooooo easy!!!!

  • omg waht model ibanez is that??? some please tell me...BTW that was the best mudvayne cover on youtube

  • thanks, Ibanez RGR320EX ;)

  • How much are those? I want one!

  • around 400 € ;)

  • oh, thanks

  • Thanks man for sending me!!! If u want 2 become friends, thats fine by me!! I need at lease 1 anyways:)

  • man u rock!!! I'm tryin 2 be good as u but my pops would teach me more:(

  • thanks dude, keep on practicing dude and you will make it ;)

  • perfect...you kick asses!!!!! great distortion

  • this is a sick tone dude.

    nice cover.

  • awsome cover, man, sick guitar too, gotta love those ibanez's

  • damn dude mad props to this. I think its sick as hell to know how to play the guitar i wish i could.

  • nice job man

  • how did u learn to play this song?

  • I don't think th RGr320X has a Floyd, i think it is one of the Ibanez Edge bridges.

  • Nice cover!

I was wondering...The guitar you have...

I was looking to buy the RGr320X, is it worth it?

  • in the 2:20 `s, it seems like it maybe to slow or your missing a note or something. idk

  • 2:00 area... sorry.

  • dude this is bad ass!

  • your picking patterns makes me think that the song is easy. but, i know it is very tricky and difficult. btw great video..

  • how do u do natural harmonics?

  • press down on the string just a little bit

  • this truly looks 100% correct. did you get the song book?

  • Great tone, are you using the default toneport settings are did you also buy the PowerPack addon?

  • That is fucking incredible, I cant get past the chorus. You have fuckin nailed that mate, That must be from a book cause its perfect.

  • yay i couldn't really tell which one sounded better when i play it, and yours sounds cool

  • i will only rate and press high quality button if you tell if at 17 seconds do you play those like natural harmonics or normal notes?

  • 8 seconds that funny

  • wana start a band?

  • lol yeah man, that would be nice but germany is too far away from canada :D

  • can u send the tabs please????
