I still think that an engine pre-luber would be as important as the bypass filtration.
The bypass filter does not pressurize the oil system before start-up. So if Amsoil is good oil, you can expect 1 000 000 mi. on an engine with no wear. But an engine does not hold the vehicle together.
@twin1010101010 After owning and working on many cars I can pretty much tell if oil is good by how it looks, smells and feels. On my normal cars that doesn't have a performance or expensive engine if the oil is nice and golden brown and has no junk in it like tiny shavings I keep the oil in there. It's never hurt them yet and I've very had high millage ones. My truck now has a broke speedo but the engine is 41 years old and runs good
Your video was really good and the question poped up after knowing they already have the clean burn used oil furnace on the market, with the technology of todays oil refinery I thought it might be possible to produce a Gas or liquid fuel.
Great video! I have always used Amsoil 10w30 synthetic in my daily driver and change it every 3k miles. Today, with 160,000mi., the car runs like new (according to my mechanic). I buy it at my local Napa. I change way more often than I need to, but I want to go another 160k miles with this car, and at this rate, I will. Simply the best oil there is. Period.
@jet62095 Funny, no one I race with uses Mobile 1. Royal Purple and Redline are second to AMSoil. Acout half the people that show up in dedicated track cars for the track days run AMSoil. The rest use the other two. Only people using Mobile 1 are the folks in the daily drivers or weekend warriors that don't know any better.

What about Amsoil frame-rust preventative. etc?

@twin1010101010 I agree, a waste of natural resources and money especially for synthetic.

Has any one thought of refining the used oil into a burnable gas / liquid to run in your car?

@tremer88 - Oil gets dirty if the air and oil filter fail.
