Well I wouldnt call it a "spin-off" since it has nothing to do with Higurashi. Its more of just a whole other series.

The only thing it has similar to Higurashi is that when people die, they will be revived back in a new chapter, otherwise, its like completely different. (Oh also 2 characters just resemble a few from Higurashi but it has nothing to do with Higurashi )

@NarutoUzumaki7639 well actually they are related to higurashi. The whole higurashi series was them playing a game against eachother. Takano was Lambdadelta's knight piece and Rika was Bernkastel's knight piece. Bernkastel won which is why Lambdadelta was mad at her when she appeared.
