Apparently, it's hard to verify whether he's under house arrest or not--Iran isn't too friendly to journalists. It seems likely, and Tweets from some of his connected supporters on Twitter claim he is. If you're actually in Canada, just search for "Mousavi house arrest" under Google News and you get a lot of different reports about it. If you're in Russia or Iran, I don't know if you have free access to search tools like Google News, or if it is filtered or blocked by the governments there.

Jumping to conclusions and accusing the CIA of interference shows an extreme anti-American paranoia, and especially with the Tibet riots. Had that been a covert operation it would have been the CCP themselves, not the CIA.

While I doubt CIA involvement in the Iran unrest, the anti-American paranoia is understandable. The US has a terrible legacy of intervention. But that doesn't mean everything is a result of CIA involvement.
