what i liked about desert storm was the 3rd person aspect & the strategy the planning and the covert stealthness of the missions. missions where you the player figure out how to kill a tank which road to take & the teamwork involved. great games still play them.

I know exactly what they were trying to do with this followup game. They had saw the huge rising success of the COD/MW series and thought yeah we want a peace of that. The only trouble was, in converted the game engine from the 3rd person style that the "Conflict"games had always been, they messed it up completely. The primitive AI makes tactics redundant, embarrassingly bad scripting, the control system should be slicker, and it completely spoils the "Conflict" series.

Yes, it is my favorite game, great graphics, great multiplayer with it's own servers(no player host), and best part, destructible environments. Basically it's Call of Duty with smooth graphics, good vehicle handling, you don't have to use doors, and it's a sandbox single player and multiplayer, so you can do whatever you want. With 2 free map packs on the marketplace for 360 and ps3.

Just sucks that gaming PCs are obsolete within a month of purchase. That, or you have to constantly upgrade to keep your PC just to maintain a negligible edge on consoles.

And, there's always the risk that the game you just spent 60 bucks on won't work because you don't have the right version of DirectX or your drivers are messed up somehow.

I'm, personally, very comfortable knowing that when I pop a game in my console, it will work.
