First woman outta Cleveland to host a horror show.. that's me. Check my page here for details.. of course I grew up watching these guys and Big Chuck.. come see what they spawned!
Dude! THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES! Been a lifetime and many miles ago. I live in FL now. Does WMMS still play Maggot Brain on Friday night?? AMRAP LIVES! Froggy...my favorite amphibian!
he used to wear a shop coat that was loaded with pin-on advertising buttons.....God, I had one too!!!!! I watched him all of the time and I turned out OK....I think?????
The Ghoul also corrupted Detroit youth in the 70's and 80's (and brief occasions in Detroit)
on channels 50 and 20 and even 62 (black station) if I remember correctly---even channel 4, I think, in late 90's with a dual hosting job w/ Count Scary (who sucked), showing "Night of the Living Dead." One of the best things was fans sent 'em homemade super-8 movies that he showed on the air.
I watched him on 50 (Ron Sweed played him)and kept a "Ghoul Chart" where I marked on a sheet how many shows I saw. I only missed 4 nights the whole year, 1974. (I turned 15 that June). So Stay sick, turn blue, scratch glass, climb walls but most importantly of all mamma, do it while you can but don't - get - caught! Bye!
When Cleveland actually did rock. God bless it. Used to have something to offer the US. Now its all West Coast kids ... reject it. It's terrible.

When was this recorded? Is the show still on the air these days or is this from the old channel 61?
