This is a "soft science". Just as psychology is referred to as the soft science, it's for a reason. Since different cultures/people have different understandings or rituals/habits/beliefs, we cannot always assume these things apply to everyone and anyone.
Ok... no offense but that's a great argument to make from an armchair. If you've done an actual study on it (or can at least provide a counter-example), I'd be much more interested.
I believe that predicting whether or not people will lie based on eye accessing cues along is silly and not real. The number one thing people look for is visual remembered vs. visual created, and given that these are switched in a certain % of the population and that visual created doesn't mean you are lying ... that method is inaccurate.
(This is for people who are new to this) If this kind of thing interests you read 'Frogs into Princes', 'Trance-formations', 'Structure of Magic 1', Structure of Magic 2', all by Bandler & Grinder. Some of them can be expensive books, but they are very interesting. Also, remember that all individuals are exactly that; it is important to observe the person first, as people are 'organised' differently. Take all with a pinch of salt also. This stuff is NOT infallible.
I think looking at eye accessing cues to detect lying is not worth the trouble. There's much more reliable ways to figure that out, as opposed to, "Oh shit her eyes went up and to the right, that must mean she's making stuff up" -- which isn't actually true.
If you access all your images for example by looking down, you'll mismatch people because everyone else accesses them by looking up. It's a good thing to have yourself become somewhat normally organized. In some people Vc and Vr are switched, and it's fine if you have that, but for example accessing feelings by going down and to the left is going to break rapport.
This is really cool - your examples and expanded explanation was really helpful. I'm noticing that I tend to look up to my left and down to my right alot. Very interesting vids Thanks!
Thank you for suggestion I will try.

I think it's not about what we do as a group but the patterns we exhibit as individuals.
There is no proof that looking up is visual, or otherwise but individuals do use the same patterns.
Have look at Derren Browns videos about discovering liars.
The rapport thing isn't down to matching or pacing, it's just bandlarian rubbish IMHO

Cool buddy, but i've yet to see/hear any real purpose for this doing this.
Can you explain please? When is this actually useful?
Thanks, love your work by the way

Ya good stuff, but I have no idea what you're talking about in this video. So if my cues are in a different place, I think differently from everyone?

Thanks for this video - very interesting. Had no clue about this at all but it's another fascinating thing to observe in the world.
