  • can someone please tell me what im doing wrong!. Ive made sure the card is secure and in properly, ive installed the new drivers and dissabled the onboard graphics. Yet still my screen still says 'no signal' when I turn on the comp with the card in. Take the card out and the monitor works fine again? wtf. please can someone help me, ive been trying to install this for days. Its driving me insane!!

  • @MrDeano324 put in the card, then use the stock video port instead and go to system>hardware>device manager, then click the plus beside the headline "display adapters", then double click on your video card. a little menu shold pop up, and the main tab should tell you the status of the card. if it has a error of any kind, that is your problem. if not, then go to add or remove hardware and check that the drivers are there. if not, then that is your problem. if the drivers are there and the...

  • ...computer says your card is ok, then your card has a fault in the port itself. replace the video card.

  • i have a backup computer from 2004 that only has pci slots..(shockingly!) since my current MUCH newer computer just got fried by my dvd drive :( its better than onboard damnit..

  • @LionGoddess1 even though the newer computers have newer, faster, and more secure coding, the parts can still be faulty. lots of people have bought a brand spanking new computer that has at least one faulty part. my brother bought a brand new toshiba sattelite (the actual name of the computer) , and the webcam does not work, yet everything else does.

  • Some of the best cards are pci

  • but if i has a radeon hd 4350 pci-e and two radeon hd 4350 pci will that go?

  • if i have a pci express card will it work in a pci 16x slot?

  • @saintsrow69r It might, theres PCI-e x1, PCI-e x16 2.0, and PCI-e x16 2.1

There are a few different types of PCI-e slots.

  • Does anyone know if the NVIDIA GeFORCE FX5500 128MB DUAL MONITOR PCI VIDEO CARD supports Shader Model 1.1 or higher?

  • are you doing this vid from jail

  • @peanutbutterdawg thats what I was wandering

  • This guy talks shit. Nvidia GeF 8400 GS PCI + P4 Prescott+ 2GIG RAM WILL PLAY ALMOST ALL current games at a good frame rate.

  • @MrBillyBumbler i know its kindove late but what is the P4 Prescott

  • wait, so should I get agp or pci?

  • Do you mean motherboard, or video card? Because if you already have a computer, you need to determine what you adapter or (bus) you have on your motherboard! No computer has AGP and PCI.

  • @cwk1417 Get an AGP one. Will work faster than the pci.
