Its sad that there is such a big scare about turtles and salmonella. Is it really that hard for people to wash their hands?

i always washed my hands before and after anyway even before i heard about salmonella lol its common sence u dnt want ur turtle geting any crap from ur hands or u geting cray from them

yes i was diagnosed with lichfield salmonella and man it hurts still ive had it for 2 months and i still will have this salmonella for about 6 or 7 more months now because im still sheading it through my bowels.

I have had pet turtles (under 4 inches) for 2 years. I haven't heard about the salmonella. For now on i will wash my hands.
