Whist the GTR album was pretty bad, the concert was wonderful when it featured real progressive rock like this and not their poor attempt to out Asia Asia with watered down radio-ready tracks.
I do remember reading Armando Gallo's biography of Genesis years ago...Tony Banks never liked After The Ordeal and felt that his playing was atrocious on the track...
Great medley of guitar solos from the virtuoso himself, Steve Hackett. Simply beautiful. I can't imagine why Gabriel and Banks didn't want "After the Ordeal" on "Selling England By the Pound"
Great sound... Thanks for posting!!!
