  • Left Portsmouth at dawn, hooked up middle of the day, slack tide, sand eels come to the top at slack tide , tuna also come up for "bite". The fish didn't really jump, just broke water and we could see him splashing on top! Don't normally jump.

    The other boat on the radio is jiving us for going so early, if you hookup at midday why go early!!

    2010 has been a down year, no tuna hooked up this year and restrictions from NMFS suck!!

  • did you say at around 1:20 that the tuna jumped? that's strange...
