@davekl if you read the T&C's it states clearly in the money back guarantee that there is a deduction for consumables. You can't expect to buy a product, use it and then get a full refund. Alpha Stim 100. Used it 3 days so far. Ear clips on, set the device to .05 3.4 stim. Made me feel like being on a hammock rocking from side to side in my head. Lowered it to 2.3 20 Min.It gave me a headache later on. I suffer from migraines. I tried to get rid of the headache last night with the wands but it did not help. Today the headache is still there. Used it this morning for 20 minutes, did not get rid of the headache. I am hoping that this is not going to be the norm everytime I use it.

I've been using the Alpha-Stim SCS for a few weeks now, and it seems when I was at 20 minutes/night I was doing better (not great, but at least getting by) but once I went to 60 minutes/night my anxiety and depression WORSENED. My doc wants me at 3 hours/day, and I'm depressed because I was really hopeful this would work, but it seems it isn't. F.A.O. People in the UK. If you return the alpha stim because it didn't work for you, they will not refund you in full. They charge you £50. They don't tell you this until you return it. They are very helpful when you buy one, but if it doesn't work for you you will find yourself having to call to chase your money.

Also I've heard the Bio Tuner BT7 is less expensive and a more powerful machine than the Alpha Stim? I need it for chronic back pain, neck pain, depression and chronic fatigue. Looking at the machines the Bios Tuner BT7 doesn't seem to have any pads so therefore I doubt it is suitable for back pain?

@Hertsman50 I had it for anxiety. It made it much, much worse that's why I sent it back. They kept saying before I bought it, if you don't for any reason send it back for a refund. When you do that's when the tell you, oh yeah, we're taking £50 off your refund. It was for the 1 (yes one) pad I used.

I was desperate and wanted to try anything to take away the feelings. Now I know there is no magical cure for anxiety, just a little work and belief in yourself.

@daverkl mate these fuckers make a fortune out of our misery. I've been ripped off so many times with these shit devices. TENS machines are fucking shit. So we're led to believe these alpha stim machines work in a different way. I've seen these alpha stim 100 machines selling for up to £600 in the UK. How the fuck can they charge £600 for a stupid shitty little device that gives off a tiny current??? The only thing that has helped me is buffered vitamin C. Huge doses of vit C helps. Good luck.

Don't judge a book by it's cover, why don't you do some investigating and find out how the Alpha-Stim differs from TENS. You never know, you might learn something. As it is, you both are feeding off each others negativity when there is something out there others find hugely beneficial. So @davekl had a bad experience - deal with it and stop stewing in each others misery. IT WORKS! FACT!

After using everything the Doctors prescribed (including surgery and botox injections in the back) she got the AS100 and has relief from pain which is a blessing. I don't think you can put a price on quality of life - £600 in my book is worth it. I think the cost is for the technology and research behind it - not the nuts and bolts so to speak.

All I am saying is that yes it doesn't work for everyone, but for a majority it does and I can see that you have been asking questions about it so why not try it for yourself. It did help enormously with my Depression (it took a few weeks) and I wouldn't be without mine. I would anyone to give it a go (infact, two of my friends used mine and then got their own).

@saintlysimon It does work and CES is very real. It's actually been around since the 50's. The alpha-stim will relieve anxiety, for sure, however it doesn't do a great job with depression. If you have anxiety issues I'd try this.

I've had an Alpha Stim SCS on trial for a month and I have to say I'm impressed. As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety for decades, the Alpha stim seems to be a useful alternative to anti-depressants.

At the end of the trial I have to decide whether to buy one or not. At the thick end of £300 it is not cheap, but I am very very tempted!

This can happen in the beginning. You might have done too long of a treatment. Try and reduce the exposure time and work your way up. Pace not Race !!!!

In 7 months he tried every drug? Not! When you do drug therapy, drugs take about 4 -6 weeks to reach their full effect. 7 months is 28 weeks. He could have only tried a the most 4 drugs but there are dozens of depressant drugs available.

Hey Gary, I've suffered from servere attacks for years. Just today I got off the phone from a heated conversation. I had to leave work, pop a klonopin and hope the attack goes away. Serotonin helps build confidence besides making you feel well when your depressed or anxious. So, although there are no studies on what you are asking, I would guess the answer is yes. I have an entire series of videos under the name GARY1RN or if you type "RN 5-HTP" in the search box you will find a good video on how to boost Serotonin naturally made by me. The Alpha-Stim gets your Serotonin going once your levels are up, i.e. it helps fire the Serotonin so that you "feel good". Gary

I have fully reviewed their website. Non of the papers they have presented in the research section is genuine. None of them have been published in peer reviewed journals.
