The government should not have any sort of law dictating what women OR men can or cannot do with their bodies. And that logic applies to everyone else for that matter. If you don't agree with abortion, don't have one. Period. Every circumstance is different and there are many, many factors that apply to each individual. It isn't as simple as if the woman was raped or not, and anyone who thinks otherwise is oversimplifying another person's life.
Silly americans. Why all the hate involving abortion? Be like Australians, consider them undeveloped and therefore not humans yet. You aren't killing a child, you're preventing one.
I said the previous comment because I found myself pregnant at 28. I ended up miscarrying but the point is that I had the option of aborting or going through with the pregnancy before the miscarriage. My boyfriend and I were not ready so the decision was to adopt out. I couldn't safely say an abortion wouldn't mess with my head for the rest of my life. What my decision was or was not doesn't matter, I had the option of controlling what went on with MY body. Keep abortion LEGAL!
I am against abortion only for myself but NOT against it for other women. I have many friends who have had abortions for various reasons. I personally could not do it but I have NOT and will NOT judge other women. A daughter of my cousin died in November after giving birth to two healthy twin girls. Childbirth is the most dangerous thing a woman can do. Regardless, I agree that everyone, not just women should have the right to decide what to do with their own bodies.
the word (abortion) will always have an argument.bad situation that young females get rape and get pregnant.abortion is the key for situation for that, but then again there are young females who get pregnant thinking is fun and to have the attention and then they realize they don't want the baby or fetus and think is easy to kill it. if your truly not going to keep the pregnancy don't toy with it. abortion could harm u as well and sometimes don't go well.its not easy.
It's not a baby--it's a fetus. And before that, an embryo. Or you can just call it "life" and be generally accepted. Just lurking and wanted to comment on some of the emotionally-charged speeches down here.
Women's rights, my ass. Sure women can have rights. But when it come to a precious being growing inside of you, you should have no choice.
It is killing and it is absolutely wrong. Over 2,000 babies are taken each day.
2,000.
People who kill innocent lives that are still growing should be killed themselves. No one gives two fucks if you don't want it. What about all the women who have been deemed infertile and would die to have a little baby? Exactly. You POMPOUS FUCK.
@dementedsmiles First of all, you just said, “Women’s rights, my ass.” This makes you come off as a notorious sexist. But wait, next you said, “Sure woman can have rights.” Contradicting, much? Please place your thoughts carefully before opening your mouth to blab about something as sensitive as women’s rights and abortion.
@dementedsmiles Second, “But when it comes to a precious being growing inside of you, you should have no choice.” Yeah, because a group of cells is completely equivalent to a fully-developed human being! The baby has not fully developed enough to feel any pain, or to have any feelings. From a scientific point of view, this baby is nothing more than an insensitive group of cells, at the moment.
@dementedsmiles “Over 2,000 babies are taken each day.” Many babies also die from disabilities or diseases. You’re making it seem like abortion is the main cause of baby death. Guess what? It’s not. The human population is constantly growing and changing.
@dementedsmiles “People who Kill Innocent Lives that are still growing should be killed themselves.” So, Let’s see. If you’re favorite person in the world got raped, if the person you loved most of all got raped, and decided to get an abortion, they deserve to be killed? They were RAPED against their WILL. And on top of that, you want to kill them for making the choice of not having the child?
@dementedsmiles My friend once got accidentally pregnant and got an abortion, because she barely had any money to maintain HERSELF, let alone a kid she would bring into the world. She knew if she didn’t get an abortion, that baby would have been born into poverty and lived a life of suffering. There are worse things than dying. Much worse things. When it comes down to it, you are the real sick fuck. But let’s continue.
@dementedsmiles “No one Gives two fucks if you don’t want it.” Guess what? Somebody does. THEMSELVES. The woman having the child gives a million fucks that she doesn’t want it. So what if nobody else cares? She does, and if SHE does, then everyone who doesn’t give a fuck should not tell her what she should do for her own body.
@dementedsmiles Imagine this: Somebody wants you to make a porn video. You don’t want to do it, but nobody else gives two fucks if you don’t want to. They wanna see you do it for their amusement. Do you make the porn video just because nobody gives two fucks if you don’t want to? Absolutely not, because it
@dementedsmiles is YOUR body and YOU Choose what you want to do with it, no matter what anyone else thinks. Is it their bodies? Nope. It’s absolutely not. It’s yours.
@dementedsmiles “What about all the women who have been deemed infertile and would die to have a little baby?” This part is just ridiculously stupid. If someone gets pregnant and has a baby, it won’t change the fact that the infertile women cannot have a child. Think a little, won’t you? Besides, infertile women always have the choice of ADOPTION.
@dementedsmiles Heck, with all the over-population in this world, it would be a better choice to ADOPT kids. To give kids that don’t have any parents another chance! Hey, I have an Idea, Why don’t we make it illegal for women to get pregnant until the over-population problem gets fixed? I bet your initial reaction was: “NO WAY!” You know what? That SHOULD be your reaction. Because women have the right to get pregnant if they want to.
@dementedsmiles Why? BECAUSE IT’S THEIR BODIES! Just like they have the right to have an abortion because it’s their bodies. So, you see, it all comes down to that one thing. It’s their bodies. Not yours. You have no idea what these women are going through right now.
There are girls who are raped at a very young age. Like, at 13 or 14. And some of them are so small that if they have a child, they could die in childbirth. You can't expect anyone, especially not a 13 or 14 year old girl, to choose the "life" of someone who they don't know and have never seen over their own lives. And unborn children are not developed enough to have the emotional capacity to think "I'm about to die. This hurts my feelings." That's just how I see it. Thanks for posting this!
@Geedo777 Safe sex? Hello? And I was born into a life like that. I'm glad I was given a chance to live. If you can kill babies to prevent them from having a hard life, then we should grab guns and shoot special people, poor people, and people that have been abused, to end their hard life.
A child is born to a home with parents/a parent that doesn't want them. Nobody wants to be responsible for a child being born into a household that can't support it or is going to treat it like it doesn't belong and wasn't wanted.
If abortion wasn't legal, lots of that would pretty much be going on. I think Onision is right all the way. It's a choice that we should be allowed to make.
I'm generally pro-choice, and this is not directed specifically at this video, but pro-choice people can often be as disagreeable as pro-life people, and that's one of the few instances that I can say that with regard to liberal/conservative politics.
i was in a slightly different situation. my fiancees' grandparents tried to get me to have an abortion with my first child. i was pretty upset about it. i had my child and then had another. if i had gone thru with my plans to abort my second child, i wouldn't have the sweet little boy i do today. i'm very supportive of womens' rights. i think that no one other than the individual going thru the ordeal has ANY say in what that individual 'needs' to do.
To each his own. You shouldn't have the right to tell someone they can't get an abortion. If they choose to its there choice and not yours. No one should bad mouth either side of abortion just because they don't agree with it.
Onision is very inspiring. <3 I love the way he thinks.
People should take responsibility for their actions... don't want a baby, don't have sex or at least practice safe sex. Babies should not die because you can't keep your legs closed.
I think the only time an abortion should be allowed is if they are raped or there is a medical condition. If the woman is whoring around, then no, she should not be allowed to have one. The baby doesn't have a choice in the matter...
But if a child will be born into this world unwanted, possibly to parents too young or w/out a father, what kind of upbringing will that be? If someone is to be born into a world of suffering, it is better to be not born at all. Besides the world is over-populated anyways.
@Jigpikchu There are people that adopt, and there are plenty of orphans that grow up to do good things. I think every kid deserves a chance. If a lady didn't want a kid, she should have kept her legs closed. I'm not talking about rape or if there was a medical reason for abortion, but in general, it's her fault she is pregnant, and a baby shouldn't die because she chose to have sex.
And maybe the guy that impregnated that woman should have thought twice about where he was putting his sperm. Stop revolving around the woman because that's all you see in the picture. Men are just as much to blame, yet I don't see you pointing a finger at those irresponsible guys that drop their pants and stick their dicks into anyone who is willing. And mind you , condoms and and Birth controls don't always work.
@Jigpikchu The men aren't the ones getting the abortion, the women are. If the man tells her to or allows her to, then he is also killing a baby. However, if it was not rape, then that means that the woman was willing to have sex with him, and then they made a baby. I'm not taking the side of either the man or the woman. I don't see what's so hard about keeping your legs closed and pants on. People need to think before they act.
@saiyanblade84 So you think that purely because a woman enjoys sex she should leave a string of babies born into hopelessness, regardless of her capabilities or desires to look after the child? Like you said, the baby doesn't have a choice in the matter, it's not it's own fault if it's born into a life of poverty, apathy, abuse and crime. The potential mother on the other hand can choose not to bring a human being into such a life.
WOW! You are amazing! I am in 6th grade, and I have noticed that the boys treat girls like garbage. They treat us like we r supported but then knock us down in times of need, discomfort, and pain. I just want to thank you, for supporting women. You are a role model for me and I respect you for sooo many different reasons. So, thank you. :)
hmm, i see where he's getting at. But the way I see it, it is killing a human being. But i also agree that people have a choice. I have never been raped, but, I do know, if I was, and I ended up pregnant, I would never abort the child. That child could one day be something important, or they could be a drug dealer. Basically, we are all born for a reason. We all deserve life, no matter how bad or good we may thing it is
What pisses me off about abortion is that there are many promiscuous and sexually irresponsible women in this world who only care about themselves and their self gratification. When they choose to have sex and get pregnant, then decide just abort the fetus and throw it out like yesterday's trash is appalling. Have ever thought about if their own mother had believed abortion was right or acceptable?
Those who knowingly take the risk and get pregnant should "put on their big girl panties" so to speak and grow up and deal with the consequences of the decisions they have made. Many people who cant have children and would jump at the chance to love and nurture something so precious. I got pregnant at 19. I was just out of high school, was raised in a very southern very baptist home, and had a father with the personality of a drill sergeant. I manned up and have a 5 year old son who is my world
@LadyXxXTattoo Yeah, and what do you do if the girl got rapped or if the condom broke ? I agree that abortion is too much often used by girl who do not think before they took the risk of having non protected sex, but we can't dissociate one situation of the other...
@LadyXxXTattoo A child shouldn't be a consequence. It should be a choice. I don't like abortions and I don't think it should be a substitute for birth control. But taking away the right to have an abortion is wrong. Plain and simple.
@LadyXxXTattoo Not everyone is like that though. There are plenty of women out there who are very responsible by using protection. And what about the women who are married and already have maybe 3, 4, or 5 kids and they don't want anymore? Maybe their protection failed or something. I agree with Greg. It's her body. She can do whatever she chooses.
I notice that whenever you talk about abortion, you always paint a picture of someone who is poor, and can hardly support themselves and who was probably raped and now has to figure out what to do with her bastard child...is that the only time abortion is an option? How about a woman in her mid-late 20s who has graduated college and is working on building her career and wants to own a home before she settles down and has children. How about a woman who simply doesn't want children?
@Rachelsscars So what if the woman gets an abortion but the man wanted to keep the child? Should the man have no say in it? If a woman is stupid enough to spread her legs and get fucked without a condom and she gets pregnant, she has no right to abort that child without fathers consent assuming the father wants to be there, you're either very sexist or you're very ignorant, get over yourself.
if it was rape abortion is ok. if its not be a fucking woman, take responsibly for what you did and put the child up for adoption. there are many people who aren't physically able to have kids like my bf. i don't believe in god but i do believe in responsibility when it comes to other lives than yours, like lets say, your fucking baby...
The government should not have any sort of law dictating what women OR men can or cannot do with their bodies. And that logic applies to everyone else for that matter. And for the car analogy- the other person knew what they signed up for when they got in that car, a baby didn't ask to be made. And if you genuinely took every precaution you possibly could and you still hurt or killed another person in a car then you shouldn't feel guilty because you did everything you could not to hurt them, and it was an accident. Having an abortion is not an accident. And no making a baby isn't an accident because you know when you have sex the possibility is there.
What I said is don't have sex until you can afford to have a child (mentally, physically, and financially) and take on all the responsibilities that come with them. There is no chance in hell that you're going to get pregnant if you don't have sex. That's why I said to the people who justify getting an abortion by saying the condom broke or the pill didn't work need to get their priorities straight because neither a condom or birth control is 100% positive.
And if your implying that adults will suffer because they can't get an abortion when they get pregnant then, once again, don't have sex until you can handle the responsibilities that come with it.
Exactly. Why create more suffering people? If you wait to have sex until you can afford to support a child then there would be a lot less people suffering because kids will have better lives. You know there's always a chance that you will get pregnant/ get somebody else pregnant even if you you a condom. Rape is the only thing that could happen where you get pregnant and you couldn't help it.
This is my stance on this: I think abortion should be available for women who were raped because it wasn't there choice to get pregnant, but I don't believe women should get abortions if they consented to sex because they knew there was a risk of getting pregnant before they even had sex. And as far as people who justify their abortion by saying the condom broke or the pill didn't work; you already knew that neither of those are 100% reliable.
@itried376 It's like saying: everytime you get in your car and start driving it - and you made absolutely sure that you're sober, that you had a good night sleep, that you're wearing you glasses or contacts(in case you need them) - you won't crash into and kill another person. You took all the precautions, BUT there's always that TINY-less-than-one-percent-chance that you could kill someone, so don't drive a car unless you're ready to deal with the consequences of maybe killing someone..
Wow, how progressive of you. I love how you support a woman’s rights to just walk away from her responsibility, once a life has been created. I am curious though. How do you feel about men’s rights? Do you believe that once a life has been created, that a man should also be able to just walk away or do you believe that the man should be forced to be responsible for that child for at least the next eighteen years of its life?
@MrSleepJunkie Abortion is different than a father waling out on a 6 month old baby. Your argument doesn't make any sense. And men already contribute so little to an unwanted pregnancy. Just an orgasm. In fact even wanted pregnancy most men don't contribute all that much. They have an orgasm and then who gets to carry around a parasite(which is what a baby is until it's born although it is a Mutualistic relationship) for 9(ish) months and then push it out their vaginas thats right, the women.
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Different? How so? In either scenario, whither it is an abortion by the mother or abandonment by the father, the individual is shirking their responsibility to the child they helped create. I was using the comparison to illustrate they hypocrisy of Onision’s positions regarding men, women and children, according to the videos he has posted. If you are going to say that men should be responsible for their children from the moment of conception on, ...
@MrSleepJunkie I'm the sexist one. Your the one saying the law has to dictate what women can and cannot do with their own bodies. And there is a difference between a fetus and a fully grown baby. The world also has enough unwanted babies, The last thing the planet needs is more of them. (The world would actually be better off if people would stop having so many kids, actually) I also have this crazy idea that women and men shouldn't be chained to their biology. Just because they had sex...
@MrSleepJunkie and ended up with an unwanted pregnancy doesn't mean they have to be settled with it. That is just cruel, to the child and the parents. Also men are not responsible for the baby from conception, if they don't want to pay child support or be apart of the babies life they don't have to. But they have to give up all prenatal rights to the child. And they can do that if they want to, just like a women can end a pregnancy if she wants to.
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Yes, you are the sexist one. You are advocating unequal treatment for men, based on the fact that they are men or as you put it, because they “don’t contribute all that much.” And yes, I am saying the law should dictate what a woman can and cannot do with her body, but only because it already does for men. I am advocating equal treatment of men and women and that is exactly the opposite of sexism. How you fail to understand that is beyond me.
@YourFavoriteKilljoy That being said, there is absolutely no difference between a child inside the womb and one outside the womb, other than the imaginary one you have created to convince yourself that abortion is not murder. Those lives might be in different stages of development, but they are human lives none the less. Moving on, you go on to say that men and women shouldn’t be chained to their biology. I got news for you. They aren’t.
@YourFavoriteKilljoy No one is forced to have sex and make a child against their will. That is the problem with people today. They don’t want to take personal responsibility for their actions. Instead of waiting of waiting to have sex until they are married or until they are in a position where they are capable of caring for a child, they would rather take the easy way out and murder the life they have created. That is what I find cruel.
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Besides, who the hell are you to judge wither or not some one else would want their life, regardless of how good or bad? Don’t you think that just a bit arrogant? As for your comments concerning men not having to be responsible for the baby and not having to pay child support if they simply give up their parental rights, you are mistaken. Either that or you live in an area of the world with very different laws than those in the majority of US states.
@MrSleepJunkie I really don't mind if you think I'm arrogant. You might be right about that actually. But equating a fetus to a baby is just wrong. You are just wrong about that. An acorn is not a tree and an egg is not a chicken. You can't equate the two, you just can't. Yes, actually a man can give up the perental rights, as long as there is another caregiver willing to give the care. A single male parent cannot walk out on his child leaving him/her to starve. you can look it up. But....
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Go google fetus and look at the images. Do you think a fetus, a week before it passes through the birth canal, looks very different from a full term baby? In fact, look at images and functions of a baby from week to week= do they differ that much? A human is a human if it has human DNA. Appearance and level of function is irrelevant.
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Most abortions are first term. Even second trimester abortions are rarely done. Third trimester almost none - UNLESS the mother is at direct risk. You are exaggerating the situation in order to make your point but your point would be better received without the manipulation. ie Keep your arguments grounded in fact and you will better defend your position. You will still be wrong in my opinion, but you will be a more challenging debate and one I could respect.
@sweetmonkeylove1 Call it an exageration if you wish- but it's just the truth. It may seem trivial to remove a ball of cell from the womb- but that ball of cells is human being. The difference between you and me is that I believe that human being should have the right to it's own body and you don't. :P
@sweetmonkeylove1 Well thank you GOD for clearing that up. At least my arguements are grounded in biology and are not philosophical. From a strictly scientific standpoint- you can't deny what an organism/ human being is. So, fail.
@sweetmonkeylove1 ...Instead of pulling a definition straight out of your illiterate ass, try cracking open a biology book or a dictionary...heck, you could even go to wikipedia and learn a thing or two about human development. If you google "human" development, the story will begin with the fusion of a sperm cell and an egg. Once that happens you have a new organism- a human being. That clump of cells is classified as a separate human being. That's not a philosophical statement. That's a fact.
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Uhh I did four semesters of botany. I know my way around a cell. Granted I learned primarily about plant biology, but, transferable skills, you know. I am not ashamed to use the information available to me and illiteracy is a non-issue for me. You should see my book collection. Anyways enough defending myself from personal attacks.
@sweetmonkeylove1 ...and as far as the soul goes- that's definitely a subjective topic. That, for certain is a philosophical issue. And if you asked me if I believed that a clump of cells had a soul, I would have to say, honestly, I don't know. But consider this: Say a man tells you he is about it blow up a building. He says he is not sure if there is someone inside but he is going to do it anyways. Would you have an objection to that? I prefer to give those cells the benefit of the doubt.
@Pumpkinpiegal2 If there is a man in the building we can assume he has a lifetime of experience behind him, a family, and that he is self aware. Killing him would be murder. The man in the building is not the same as a clump of cells, just as a zygote is not the same as an old man.
@sweetmonkeylove1 So does that mean its also ok to kill a 3 week old infant as long as it is unwanted then? It is not self aware nor does it have life experience. Where is the line drawn? You must recognize that ending a life is ending a life whether or not you value that life. Killing is killing. And I don't believe it is anyone's right to kill another human being. Sorry. I'm done.
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Again you miss the argument. Cognitive function and nervous system development. Put your emotions aside for a minute and hear out the argument. A 3 week old infant has cognitive function and a nervous system. So you ask where the line is drawn? Third trimester unless the mothers life is in danger. Guess what? It already is that way. The vast majority of abortions are first trimester. At least comprehend my argument before you are done. It's ok to end on an impasse
@Pumpkinpiegal2 You are a pain in the ass but I have to admit I like you. Clumps of cells are not self aware. Would you mind responding to my previous post recopied here. Is it a sentient being or isn't it? The question IS philosophical. Lets face it what really gets people boiling is the idea that the clump of cells has a soul. What is a soul. An inherent part of you or the sum of experience? IMHO It is the sum of experience.
@Pumpkinpiegal2 I don't mean to insult, but throwing a bogus definition into your argument does nothing for you. There's no debating what a human is. There's no debating on whether or not something is a living organism. The question is, under what circumstances is it ok to kill an unborn human? If the value of a human being rests within it's life experiences- would it be ok to kill a 2 year old?
@Pumpkinpiegal2 said 'If the value of a human being rests within it's life experiences- would it be ok to kill a 2 year old?' - Remember that my argument is that of cognitive function and nervous system development. When I posted the definition I was illustrating a point as you were insinuating that there is no difference morally between an 80 year old and a zygote.
@sweetmonkeylove1 Whether or not the life of a unthinking, unfeeling, unaware human being is valuable or not is what is up for debate. Not whether or not it is human. As for me, I say that all humans have a right to life...especially those who have not had the opportunity to develop and experience the world.
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Who cares what the classifications is. Is it a sentient being or isn't it? The question IS philosophical. Lets face it what really gets people boiling is the idea that the clump of cells has a soul. What is a soul. An inherent part of you or the sum of experience? IMHO It is the sum of experience.
@sweetmonkeylove1 God said and i quote "Every child (baby) is a blessing from God' he does not approve of babies being killed! it doesnt matter who or what happened to make the woman pregnate but that child in her is human and should be able to live a prosperous life like any of you people have so just think. would you like to live your life for awhile or never live one and be killed before seeing the world? your choice?
The government should not have any sort of law dictating what women OR men can or cannot do with their bodies. And that logic applies to everyone else for that matter. If you don't agree with abortion, don't have one. Period. Every circumstance is different and there are many, many factors that apply to each individual. It isn't as simple as if the woman was raped or not, and anyone who thinks otherwise is oversimplifying another person's life.

What if abortion was illegal?
A child is born to a home with parents/a parent that doesn't want them. Nobody wants to be responsible for a child being born into a household that can't support it or is going to treat it like it doesn't belong and wasn't wanted.
If abortion wasn't legal, lots of that would pretty much be going on. I think Onision is right all the way. It's a choice that we should be allowed to make.

People should take responsibility for their actions... don't want a baby, don't have sex or at least practice safe sex. Babies should not die because you can't keep your legs closed.
saiyanblade84 1 month ago
I think the only time an abortion should be allowed is if they are raped or there is a medical condition. If the woman is whoring around, then no, she should not be allowed to have one. The baby doesn't have a choice in the matter...
saiyanblade84 1 month ago
@saiyanblade84
But if a child will be born into this world unwanted, possibly to parents too young or w/out a father, what kind of upbringing will that be? If someone is to be born into a world of suffering, it is better to be not born at all. Besides the world is over-populated anyways.
Jigpikchu 1 month ago
@Jigpikchu There are people that adopt, and there are plenty of orphans that grow up to do good things. I think every kid deserves a chance. If a lady didn't want a kid, she should have kept her legs closed. I'm not talking about rape or if there was a medical reason for abortion, but in general, it's her fault she is pregnant, and a baby shouldn't die because she chose to have sex.
saiyanblade84 1 month ago
@saiyanblade84
Jigpikchu 1 month ago
@Jigpikchu The men aren't the ones getting the abortion, the women are. If the man tells her to or allows her to, then he is also killing a baby. However, if it was not rape, then that means that the woman was willing to have sex with him, and then they made a baby. I'm not taking the side of either the man or the woman. I don't see what's so hard about keeping your legs closed and pants on. People need to think before they act.
saiyanblade84 1 month ago
@saiyanblade84 So you think that purely because a woman enjoys sex she should leave a string of babies born into hopelessness, regardless of her capabilities or desires to look after the child? Like you said, the baby doesn't have a choice in the matter, it's not it's own fault if it's born into a life of poverty, apathy, abuse and crime. The potential mother on the other hand can choose not to bring a human being into such a life.

LadyXxXTattoo 1 month ago
Those who knowingly take the risk and get pregnant should "put on their big girl panties" so to speak and grow up and deal with the consequences of the decisions they have made. Many people who cant have children and would jump at the chance to love and nurture something so precious. I got pregnant at 19. I was just out of high school, was raised in a very southern very baptist home, and had a father with the personality of a drill sergeant. I manned up and have a 5 year old son who is my world

Populazy3 1 week ago in playlist OnisionSpeaks

@saiyanblade84
@saiyanblade84

LadyXxXTattoo 1 month ago
Those who knowingly take the risk and get pregnant should "put on their big girl panties" so to speak and grow up and deal with the consequences of the decisions they have made. Many people who cant have children and would jump at the chance to love and nurture something so precious. I got pregnant at 19. I was just out of high school, was raised in a very southern very baptist home, and had a father with the personality of a drill sergeant. I manned up and have a 5 year old son who is my world
LadyXxXTattoo 1 month ago
@LadyXxXTattoo Yeah, and what do you do if the girl got rapped or if the condom broke ? I agree that abortion is too much often used by girl who do not think before they took the risk of having non protected sex, but we can't dissociate one situation of the other...
Rwaaph 1 month ago

@natjaa
And no making a baby isn't an accident because you know when you have sex the possibility is there.
itried376 2 months ago
@natjaa

And if your implying that adults will suffer because they can't get an abortion when they get pregnant then, once again, don't have sex until you can handle the responsibilities that come with it.
itried376 2 months ago
@TheAssesKicker
Exactly. Why create more suffering people? If you wait to have sex until you can afford to support a child then there would be a lot less people suffering because kids will have better lives. You know there's always a chance that you will get pregnant/ get somebody else pregnant even if you you a condom. Rape is the only thing that could happen where you get pregnant and you couldn't help it.
itried376 2 months ago
Oh and don't have sex until you are financially and emotionally ready to have a kid. There is always a chance you could get pregnant.
itried376 2 months ago in playlist Parenthood
This is my stance on this: I think abortion should be available for women who were raped because it wasn't there choice to get pregnant, but I don't believe women should get abortions if they consented to sex because they knew there was a risk of getting pregnant before they even had sex. And as far as people who justify their abortion by saying the condom broke or the pill didn't work; you already knew that neither of those are 100% reliable.
itried376 2 months ago in playlist Parenthood
@itried376 Don't you think that there are way too many people who are suffering in this world? Why create more?
TheAssesKicker 2 months ago

MrSleepJunkie 2 months ago
@MrSleepJunkie Abortion is different than a father waling out on a 6 month old baby. Your argument doesn't make any sense. And men already contribute so little to an unwanted pregnancy. Just an orgasm. In fact even wanted pregnancy most men don't contribute all that much. They have an orgasm and then who gets to carry around a parasite(which is what a baby is until it's born although it is a Mutualistic relationship) for 9(ish) months and then push it out their vaginas thats right, the women.
YourFavoriteKilljoy 2 months ago in playlist Parenthood
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Different? How so? In either scenario, whither it is an abortion by the mother or abandonment by the father, the individual is shirking their responsibility to the child they helped create. I was using the comparison to illustrate they hypocrisy of Onision’s positions regarding men, women and children, according to the videos he has posted. If you are going to say that men should be responsible for their children from the moment of conception on, ...
MrSleepJunkie 2 months ago
@MrSleepJunkie I'm the sexist one. Your the one saying the law has to dictate what women can and cannot do with their own bodies. And there is a difference between a fetus and a fully grown baby. The world also has enough unwanted babies, The last thing the planet needs is more of them. (The world would actually be better off if people would stop having so many kids, actually) I also have this crazy idea that women and men shouldn't be chained to their biology. Just because they had sex...
YourFavoriteKilljoy 2 months ago
@MrSleepJunkie and ended up with an unwanted pregnancy doesn't mean they have to be settled with it. That is just cruel, to the child and the parents. Also men are not responsible for the baby from conception, if they don't want to pay child support or be apart of the babies life they don't have to. But they have to give up all prenatal rights to the child. And they can do that if they want to, just like a women can end a pregnancy if she wants to.
YourFavoriteKilljoy 2 months ago
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Yes, you are the sexist one. You are advocating unequal treatment for men, based on the fact that they are men or as you put it, because they “don’t contribute all that much.” And yes, I am saying the law should dictate what a woman can and cannot do with her body, but only because it already does for men. I am advocating equal treatment of men and women and that is exactly the opposite of sexism. How you fail to understand that is beyond me.
MrSleepJunkie 2 months ago
@YourFavoriteKilljoy That being said, there is absolutely no difference between a child inside the womb and one outside the womb, other than the imaginary one you have created to convince yourself that abortion is not murder. Those lives might be in different stages of development, but they are human lives none the less. Moving on, you go on to say that men and women shouldn’t be chained to their biology. I got news for you. They aren’t.
MrSleepJunkie 2 months ago
@YourFavoriteKilljoy No one is forced to have sex and make a child against their will. That is the problem with people today. They don’t want to take personal responsibility for their actions. Instead of waiting of waiting to have sex until they are married or until they are in a position where they are capable of caring for a child, they would rather take the easy way out and murder the life they have created. That is what I find cruel.
MrSleepJunkie 2 months ago
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Besides, who the hell are you to judge wither or not some one else would want their life, regardless of how good or bad? Don’t you think that just a bit arrogant? As for your comments concerning men not having to be responsible for the baby and not having to pay child support if they simply give up their parental rights, you are mistaken. Either that or you live in an area of the world with very different laws than those in the majority of US states.
MrSleepJunkie 2 months ago
@MrSleepJunkie I really don't mind if you think I'm arrogant. You might be right about that actually. But equating a fetus to a baby is just wrong. You are just wrong about that. An acorn is not a tree and an egg is not a chicken. You can't equate the two, you just can't. Yes, actually a man can give up the perental rights, as long as there is another caregiver willing to give the care. A single male parent cannot walk out on his child leaving him/her to starve. you can look it up. But....
YourFavoriteKilljoy 2 months ago
@YourFavoriteKilljoy Go google fetus and look at the images. Do you think a fetus, a week before it passes through the birth canal, looks very different from a full term baby? In fact, look at images and functions of a baby from week to week= do they differ that much? A human is a human if it has human DNA. Appearance and level of function is irrelevant.
Pumpkinpiegal2 2 months ago
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Most abortions are first term. Even second trimester abortions are rarely done. Third trimester almost none - UNLESS the mother is at direct risk. You are exaggerating the situation in order to make your point but your point would be better received without the manipulation. ie Keep your arguments grounded in fact and you will better defend your position. You will still be wrong in my opinion, but you will be a more challenging debate and one I could respect.

Human being - a member of any of the races of Homo sapiens; person; man, woman, or child.
No mention of a clump of unthinking, unfeeling, unaware cells.
Yours truly, god.
sweetmonkeylove1 2 months ago 3
@sweetmonkeylove1 ...Instead of pulling a definition straight out of your illiterate ass, try cracking open a biology book or a dictionary...heck, you could even go to wikipedia and learn a thing or two about human development. If you google "human" development, the story will begin with the fusion of a sperm cell and an egg. Once that happens you have a new organism- a human being. That clump of cells is classified as a separate human being. That's not a philosophical statement. That's a fact.
Pumpkinpiegal2 2 months ago
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Uhh I did four semesters of botany. I know my way around a cell. Granted I learned primarily about plant biology, but, transferable skills, you know. I am not ashamed to use the information available to me and illiteracy is a non-issue for me. You should see my book collection. Anyways enough defending myself from personal attacks.
sweetmonkeylove1 2 months ago
@sweetmonkeylove1 ...and as far as the soul goes- that's definitely a subjective topic. That, for certain is a philosophical issue. And if you asked me if I believed that a clump of cells had a soul, I would have to say, honestly, I don't know. But consider this: Say a man tells you he is about it blow up a building. He says he is not sure if there is someone inside but he is going to do it anyways. Would you have an objection to that? I prefer to give those cells the benefit of the doubt.
Pumpkinpiegal2 2 months ago
@Pumpkinpiegal2 If there is a man in the building we can assume he has a lifetime of experience behind him, a family, and that he is self aware. Killing him would be murder. The man in the building is not the same as a clump of cells, just as a zygote is not the same as an old man.
sweetmonkeylove1 2 months ago
@sweetmonkeylove1 So does that mean its also ok to kill a 3 week old infant as long as it is unwanted then? It is not self aware nor does it have life experience. Where is the line drawn? You must recognize that ending a life is ending a life whether or not you value that life. Killing is killing. And I don't believe it is anyone's right to kill another human being. Sorry. I'm done.
Pumpkinpiegal2 2 months ago
@Pumpkinpiegal2 Again you miss the argument. Cognitive function and nervous system development. Put your emotions aside for a minute and hear out the argument. A 3 week old infant has cognitive function and a nervous system. So you ask where the line is drawn? Third trimester unless the mothers life is in danger. Guess what? It already is that way. The vast majority of abortions are first trimester. At least comprehend my argument before you are done. It's ok to end on an impasse

@Pumpkinpiegal2 I don't mean to insult, but throwing a bogus definition into your argument does nothing for you. There's no debating what a human is.
