  • nice film, I enjoyed it :) sub'd

  • Your filmmaking style is very good. The cinematography and lighting are great in this film. My personal opinion though is that if the film was a bit darker/serious then there would have been a little more emotional feel at the end. Overall good film!

  • Great Job! I love the colorstyle! Did you colorcorrect?

  • nice job..really liked it

  • hello tom great as ussual, 1 quick question what software did you edit this in?

  • @DllusionDevin Thanks bro. I used Final Cut, but most things here can be done with many editing different softwares.

  • @supertom123 k thanx for ur reply :)

  • No one notices the kid isn't wearing a seatbelt in the back seat.

  • well done, aha the songs ironic

  • amazing tom!!

  • Was the majority of this lit with lights or the natural sunlight?

  • @RyanEagle09 Majority good old sunlight. Car interiors were all sound stage (aka garage)

  • :)

  • wow awsme man!

  • really cool nice to have you back:)

  • @MicMac903 Thanks. This is what I was spending months of my time on ;)

  • One thing I just noticed that you might want to fix before entering this in any festivals

(if you are) is the car crash. When the crash actually happens you break the 180 rule, not law so you could of done this on purpose, but if you didn't you had the red truck come from the right during the crash when he was driving to the right. In my opinion it confuses the viewer, and it's not that hard to fix. Just mirror the clip and that should work. Not trying to give you a hard time, just my thoughts.

  • Awesome Job! There's a lot of great irony in this; the toy cars, the news paper, the song "Good to be alive". Nicely shot, lit, and great audio. Great actors as well. Overall nicely done. By the way, what camera do you use and do you record your audio strait to the camera or matched it up in post?

  • @RyanEagle09 Cheers for the positive feedback! The camera used most was the canon 550D. Rode NTG-3 mic plugged into a zoom H4.

  • @supertom123 I have bad habit of messing with the CD player (radio) while I'm driving and taking my eyes off of the road. I won't be doing that anymore.

  • wow! this is amazing and i'm really proud! i expect more vids like this! i like the transition how after the crash the little boy is banging the cars :)

  • Tom is this really REALLY good.. thanks for sharing it !
