  • and thanks for the compliments Hudson2012... my methods are very similar yes. Great job on the your feeding ritual!!

  • Haha yeah they suck in their gut while they eat... but you are right about fat dogs. Folks if your dogs are fat and do not have a trim waist line then shame on you (not you Hudson2012 lol)! Dogs that are eating the PROPER amount of food AND getting the PROPER amount of exercise will be trim and fit. Fat dogs ARE unhealthy and WILL have more disease and health trouble.. just ask your VET.

  • btw your dogs are not underweight, thats stupid. They are perfect! everyone wants to see fat or obese dogs now for some reason they think a fat dog is a happy dog. A fat dog is 10x more likely to get health problems, including joint problems. When they are eating bent over sometimes their ribs bend out and seem to stick out but its not because they are thin its because they are bent over eating. My dogs look thin when they eat too, and the retriever is fat! lol

  • lol the Rottie is like "Damn I am itchy!! lol" I always feed my dogs just like this. GREAT WORK ... We had 4 dogs and I fed them in a square, all together, and no one was allowed to touch the food on the ground until I said. And they would all compete to see who could be the calmest, and the calmest one ate first. I feed raw now and I can walk up to any of my dogs and they will give the chicken to me, and one is a Rottie also. I take it you use Cesar's methods by the sound you use to correct?

  • Cant hear you.

  • How can I teach my Male Rottweiler to stop being food addicted? He is 10 months he knows how to sit and stay and wait but how do I teach him to stop inhailing his food when I go to put my hands in it? He never bites or growls just proceeeds to eat. any help please would be great!!!!

  • The training is good but your dogs look underweight. I can see their ribs sticking out ...

  • Stupid comment below...all dogs eat from one "bowel".......Your training seems real strong! All look healthy and well behaved...Puppy seems calm and eager to learn as well..I use a lot of the same tactics and noises and they work great.

  • Dude your teaching your dogs wrong.. The only reason they got aggression toward each other while eating is because you starve them. I got 6 k9s and they all eat from one big bowel of food...

  • @edyman87 If you were right then i could resolve my dogs food aggression by feeding it to much food. Unfortunately you are wrong because i could feed my dog all day long but if another dog came along during feeding she would attack, no exception. Food aggression is not as simple as not being hungry.

  • Thank you Jason... I am currently training my English Bulldog puppy and it is ESSENTIAL that he understands that he is not allowed to dominate me, or the family's little children. Tendencies towards aggression are seen during play, taking treats and at mealtime.

Your method worked flawlessly. It took me about 20minutes --- and that was the most difficult part, being persistent and patient on MY part! --- and in the end, it worked. -- Embrace this positive feedback. :)
