They were only running two trains most of the day for some reason(Ripley and Marsh). They didn't pull the Kimball out until later in the day when I was leaving. It happened to be arriving a Main Street as I was exiting the park to my surprise!
It'll more likely be Ward at Fullerton, since the train crew have the Marsh scheduled to be taken apart for a complete rebuild. More likely we'll see Marsh in 2010 at Fullerton.
I was so bummed out when I heard that! I was hoping the Marsh would go this year, being that in July it would be a nice way to commemorate operating for 50 years...
Engines #2 and #5 are very cantankerous beasts, and both like to be operated a certain way. Operate them a way they don't like, and it will be a long day. Number five is my favorite, followed by the 1 & 4 tied for second.
@ 3:03 Is the engine telling the driver, "Too many AP's on the train!"?

Why did the camera turn green at 3:22?

The crummy contrast filter in iMovie. I was trying to lighten up the video.

I hear this fast drumming sound at 0:12. What is it?
augpeh 2 years ago
That "drum" sound is a cartoon boing sound the turn-styles make when there's an error.

Since this was shot in June I would Hypothesise that perhaps the All-American College band is off in the distance

If your referring to the drumming sound I have heard, let me tell you I have heard it in other videos shot in March.

@augpeh it is the turnstile not accepting soneone's passport or park hopper ticket.

Nope, I have/use a steady hand, railing, or whatever is nearby! I need to bring my little 6" tripod next time for some more unique shots!
