  • Those are Fuerte Avocados which are inferior to the Hass Avocado. I don't know where you got them. 90% of Avocados are the Hass variety.

  • I just use a spoon to get the flesh out. Cut it in half sideways and pop out the pit with the knife. Then use the spoon to make half moon pieces of avacado for salads or just scoop it all out for guacamole or soup.

  • But i do agree it does look rotten
